Ojukwu, the leader of secessionist Biafra, campaigned for presidency more than once. I believe he campaigned against Obasanjo twice in 2003 and 2007.
Igbos trusted a Yoruba man than their own leader. Even in the last elections (2011/2015), many igbos were on the ballot, but once again, Igbos campaigned for an Ijaw man.

If Igbos hate themselves, who else would vote for an igbo president? Yorubas? Fulanis-Hausas, Ijaws, Middle-beltans?

The fact remains the same ojukwu wont have won even though all the SE citizens voted for him, except by the intervention of the most blessed walking Gods on earth which are the YORUBAs.
