I've always loved karaoke, so much. It holds a strong significance because my late grandpa introduced it to me & we shared a certain bond.

When I heard about Own the stage karaoke contest with the whooping $25,000 up for grabs, I was overjoyed, As in too happy. I was in Anambra but I said to myself "You have nothing to lose, it's what you love, go For it !"
I travelled down to Lagos For the audition.

After waiting for hours, it was finally my turn. Boy, was I nervous ?! I bin dey shake like jellyfish, lmao .. Anyhow I sang a song I really like (won't say the name make una no go track me )

Yemi & n6 thought I did well, even though I Got only a yes ;'( but my people, illbliss finish me, that Guy bad mouth no be here, remain small make I cry join. Choi !

I didn't make it this year but I'm going next year & I must do my grandpa proud, win larger amount of money, probably a car & get me land for my fish farming at Agulu ;')

what I can say is never give up on urself, keep learning and always be teachable. Who knows you might get it right next time.
