I have read on various print media including Nairaland how Fulani herdsmen commit various atrocities like killing and maiming, rape, destruction of farmlands,armed robbery and kidnappings etc in Igbo-land without any authentic verifications of the reality of their reports......

While I cannot totally deny the fact that some of these atrocities are perpetrated by these animals in human skin,I can reliably attest to the fact that the situation is usually exaggerated and over hyped by the media for a reason best known to them,.........

As a resident of Enugu state where most of the evil acts are reportedly alleged 2 be happening, 80% or more of the stories are outright fallacy...quote me any where.

It is quite unfortunate that most of the destructive revenge meted out on these wicked herdsmen by our agile militants youths , vigilante group and hunters are either under reported or no reported at all, may be due to their insignificance in the society.

The main reason why I am writing this is because a Fulani herds man was hacked 2 death by unknown persons two days ago in Nike, Enugu state and up till this morning, no media house of any kind has reported the incidence....many of them have been mass murdered in the past in our various villages of the state without publicity~i thought it was due to the location until this recent one happened in the state capital

I now understand that these men know who pass them a reason they have never,will never and can never tamper with any prominent personality in this part of the country, until then, they remain cowards and all the news reports remain junk journalism.

@ op you are wrong and right. We should blame the whole fulani on what the herdsmen are doing. The settled don't really like them but no one will betray his brother for an outsider. On the killings of the fulani, most farmers in the middlebelt, north,south generally do kill these people too but what the south do is make noise when the fulani have the upper hand, but the fulani don't go anywhere when the locals have the upper hand. Mostly 80 precent the herdsmen are always at fault and provocative at times

Falae's case gave a negative impression about his people, if such a big fisgh is not safe in his fathers land then who is safe?
Nigerians must talk about how we are going to sustain this nation we can live in a land where some animals feel more superior and knows violence more than others.
Fulani herdsmen are evil pls lets be guarded.

Cattle rustlers, communities, villagers(ibo) are mostly the reasons why these herdsmen have become what they have become. And the worst part is, attacks on herdsmen is under-reported.
