When I did mine, I got it on the spot. Just check any gtb branch close to you and complain to them. I even did mine at diamond bank but it was automatically connected to my gtb account.

As long as the BVN database is not queried by the GtBank ATM, this is an exercise in futility. I might as well enter a random 11 digit number to reactivate my account, pull out all the funds and close down the account. Yahoo boys over to you

I have #5 million in my Zenith Bank acct,#3.5million in my First Bank account, #2million in my Diamond Bank account, #720,000 in my Access Bank account but I just can't withdraw simply because of BVN trouble.
Pls can someone send inbox me an Etisalat or MTN card of five thousand naira (#5000)

I don't know if I can get helped here, NYSC forced me to open Corper saving account with Sterling bank, I took the pain from my PPA to travel to Jos Where the branch of Sterling is to link my BVN to d account. I later sent several mails to their customer care in which I was replied that the BVN has been linked with my account. I tried to withdraw yesterday But I was denied access to my account. I cannot use the shortcode to link the BVN because the bank registered wrong phone no with my account I tried to correct the error But I was told to provide the wrong no which I don't know.
Now I am very broke and traveling from Where I am to the capital will cost me more than 2,000 and 4hours in d vehicle.
Please help Me! I have sent mails no reply, called the customer care Nos with the little I have yet they didn't pick.

Did it both on ATM and online. the wicked people still blocked my account and i had to end up going to the bank to link it. yet i cant touch my money till next week or so. mtchewwwww.

Meanwhile the first bank is playing a fast one on customers by deactivating its ATMs and a skiing customers to reapply and get new ones at the cost of #1050.00k across the country .
Its a big scam perpetuated by the bank management for no fault of the customers .

I did not see "BVN LINKING" option in Eco bank ATM.

With the method GT has adopted, tons of accounts will end up being linked to wrong BVNs. Giving customers the "power" to link BVNs to their accounts will frustrate the achievement of the objective of the exercise. We've seen wives submitting their husband's BVN for linking. Some Banks are risk takers, some are risk averse.................. when sanctions starts rolling in ehn
