RIP. Some touts will attempt stealing the victim's shoes

The motorcycle rider obviousky did not value his life and does not have the common sense to follow basic safety rules! Wear a gaddamn helmet, his life could have been saved if he had a helmet since he died from head trauma! Most Nigerians do behave like animals, very stubborn and unruly people! Like freaking apes!!!!

Okada and danfo share the same madness. It's a pity this one lost his life. RIP.

Why can't FRSC enforce crash helmet to all bikes in the country? Maybe the guy wouldn't have died if he was wearing a crash helmet. Safety is for everybody. I wish Nigerians can learn.

It is actually a requirement for every okada rider(private or commercial) to have a helmet on. Unfortunately, Nigerians are not known for adhering to laws. Some danfo buses don't even have real seat belts. I've been told by the driver several times to put on my seat belt on to realise that it is only a show for road enforcement agencies. The seat belts most times can't lock

the family should take heart

This ugly incidence occurred just in front of my office and the reckless danfo driver took one way which has become normal due to gridlock on the other side caused by tin can bound container trucks as well as tankers going to different depots. In my opinion considering that this can be averted I'll say

1. Root cause - unmanaged grid lock which has made other road users obliged to taking one way.

2. Secondary - over speeding of motorcycle rider to & fro that single lane without caution. Let me tell you that even as a vibrant youth I get scared & take extra precautions while crossing because of the road situation. If you miss a bike coming from 'to' direction many others will surface from the other direction all with speed as if 'ceteris paribus'

It's very painful the way this man met his untimely death and it's a call to the government to put in stringent checks on motorists in this area (from mile 2 to Tin can gate 2).

Can someone read and explain to me, the motorcycle whose head was broken died instantly how?

And when your pastor call for testimony on Sunday, you would not go out. Ask your self, how many times have I taken okada this week? You would see that the life you are living is just by his grace.

The Lord grant his family the courage to bear the loss.

Tin can again. If the deceased is the rider, then Am sure he bought the Okada to ride to and from work.

Trust me, the hardest people in the world to teach and enforce simple laws on are Nigerians, they would swear and insult you for telling them basic health and safety precautions, when the past government in lagos made helmets compulsory, some attributed it to witchcraft, destiny talk and all that, the average Nigerian is security or health and safety conscious, God continue to help us but it is about time we start to help ourselves. R.I.P MAN, The guys skin is looking all fresh and clean and dressed neatly for work, could just imagine his last moments colliding with the bus, graphic imagination, graphic pics, so sad.
