Buhari and his APC govt should just own up and apologise to Nigerians on the propaganda of 5k for poor unemployed Nigerians. ....... Not like they would be forgiven but at least they might be viewed as getting serious with governance and less propaganda. What database do we have to identify the poor and unemployed amongst us? What logistics mechanism will be used to get the funds to the poor and at what cost in addition to the 5k? In this period of low earnings and economic downturn, where are they going to source 6 trillion naira for a lame social welfare? Now APC are being forced to fulfill their propaganda. amidst APC senators disagreement and Lai Mohd agreement. Very confused government. |

We all know that the promise of N5000 monthly stipend and the payment of outgone but unemployed corp members are mere campaign rhetoric to deceive those that loved to be deceived. They are not feasible! Implementing them means sinking Nigeria economy. |

You all quick to condemn a 5 months government are a pathetic lot. You won't even give them a chance to make any attempt? At this trying time, how do you expect a sane govt to implement a 5k for over 25m youths. That would sink the economy. Anybody calling this government out on this is an hypocrite. Well, you'al opinion don't count. People that voted this government are still optimistic. I'm not going to pretend Buhari is a magician and start blaming him for poor performance of magic |

The opposition only wishes ill and seeks to destroy! They'll rather criticise destructively (if there's a word) than offer any helpful tip. It's all the same men in politics, what differentiates them is the size of their clothes and the colors that they fly...otherwise, it's all dark on the inside! |

Actually some of us knew that's it was all empty promises then but unfortunately many young people believed APC lie lie. Now, no young person in the cabinet, no more jobs but lay offs, no more 5k stipend for unemployed youths, our public schools pupils still attending schools on empty stomach, civil servants arie now crying to get their salary but the presido is busy competing with Kim kardashian on who can pose better for pictures. My people wake up, wake up, wake up!!! |

Some people obviously are still smarting from the loss of the general elections. The 5k and free school meals were campaign promises I was also curious to see how APC will go about it,though inwardly I knew it was one of those empty campaign promises. Fact is,99 percent of those who voted APC did it because of one name........Muhammadu Buhari. Not because APC promised some free school meals or will pay unemployed youths 5k. |

APC Senators actually shot themselves in the legs by rejecting that motion. They should have methodically ignore it; not outright rejection. |

Chairman of the Northern Elders Council, Alhaji Tanko Yakassai, also said that the APC administration would not be able to fulfil the promise on social welfare. He said, “The APC-led government cannot fulfil it because it will cost a lot of money and it did not work out all the cost. If you want to do something like this, you must have a blueprint on how to achieve it, but the government does have any blueprint.” The Spokesman for the Northern Elders Forum, Prof. Ango Abdullahi, refused to comment on the issue, saying he had decided to stop commenting on political issues till December. “So you have to pardon me; no comments from me for now,” he said. The President of the Arewa Youths Consultative Forum, Alhaji Yerima Shettima, told one of our correspondents on the telephone that he was busy and promised to call back. He, however, did not call back as of the time of filing this report. Hypocrites. They have all lost their voices and brain because the north is in power |

More Nigerians are shedding the scales plastered over their eyes by the APC, the APC senators thought no one will raise an eyebrow at their blatant dishonesty and dishonorable behaviour. Buhari has confirmed himself as a man who can't shouldn't be trusted. Instead of him to fulfill the campaign promises he made . he is busy traveling and making more promises to cover up the earlier ones. #ChanjiIsScam |
