Whao! It's an all African finals!

Great one.

But seriously, why do we always fail to translate U17 excellence to the senior theme? I'm baffled
so simple... We are fielding over age players by d time dey play under 21 all of dem are already above 28 30 which means their bones nd muscle are already wearing out in turn dey become useless on d pitch

Finalist for 2 old men that formed the two teams.
None of these guys are under 17 for God's sake.

That is why we are always winning the under 17 tournament and when they are supposed to perform, they are way too old and they end up becoming wastes to their clubs.

Too bad for African mentality. To Win At All Cost syndrome killing us.

Anyone that's watched the Malians play will tell you they are a bunch of overage cowboys who know nothing about soccer. The rate at which they shoot aimlessly at goal is unbelievable. Like what? shocked

I doubt our boys are 17 too, but f.ack yeah we're beating the ragtag Malians.

Edit: I said f.ack and the father facking whatever sensored it to bleep angry

Yalla!

Neither have we ever lost to an African team at any Fifa u-17 tournament
.....

I see a keen repeat of Japan 1993..... Ending in Nigeria's favor...... Would be very tough but we'll triumph in the end....... ***smiles***

Yes, One of the reasons why the Mexican coach has been shouting "Age Cheaters", the same chorus they are singing all over YouTube.
I can't even predict the winner.
loser Mexican, when they worn the cup twice nobody complained about the Mexican players age, now that they are out they are crying foul, A critical look at Mexican Players yesterday shows they are more than 17years, and Their second goal tenacity proves that

I'm seeing a pattern here:

Mexico won the tournament in 2005 and Nigeria won the next tournament (in Asia) and defended thru to the final the following tournament(losing to Switzerland who won a FIFA tournament for the first time).

Then, Mexico won the tournament again in 2011 with Nigeria winning the following edition ( again in Asia) and have now defended again to the final(facing Mali who could win a first FIFA tournament).

Nigeria also have never won this tournament outside Asia.

I pray all these count for nothing on Sunday particularly since we have never lost to an African side at this tournament before and won the very first edition with the current President at the helms then.

Good luck to the golden eaglets on sunday

Neither have Nigeria "EVER" lost to an African side in the history of the Fifa u-17 World cup. (1985, 1993, 2001).

Neither have Nigeria failed to take the trophy when her player is Golden boot winner. (1993, 2007)

Neither have Nigeria ever lost a final at this level to Non-European opposition.

This team have enough to "BREAK" THE WIN-IN-ASIA-ALONE JINX........ THEY ARE OUT TO SHOW THAT WE CAN WIN ANYWHERE........... *smiles*

Reason why Nigeria will win:
reply to @chrismadon

1. Mali has bullied all thier opponents away with strong Physique HOWEVER Nigeria is also strong when it come to Physique as africans. plus we have read the came better in this commpitition. Amunike was commended by Fifa as the best technical coach so far.

so the decider will be techniqu not strenght

2. we have scored more goals in this touneyment than any other country. for every one goal they have scored we have three.

3. We know how to deal with africans been africans ourselves

4. We are world champions and knows how to do it on this stage.

5. Any tounament we beat Brazil we go on to win it check Atlanta '96 . more so having beaten the host and sturborn Mexico. Mali will just be another pack cos the boys are fuel to go.

6.Every time they write them off on papar they make themselves special on the feild.
