Hello house, I need your advise

I wasn't able to meet up with my school's enrolment deadline of 30th October due to a long delay in funding resulting in absence of visa issuance.
All efforts to get the university to give me a further extension proved futile.

I need to ask, how do I mail the embassy that I no longer require a visa anymore since the purpose of study as been defeated this winter session.
The last mail they sent was for a confirmation of Deutsche bank blocked account funding which I haven't replied since I couldn't secure an extension from the school.

Kindly advise on steps to take.

Bro , there is nothing wrong with running things German chics but plz be adviced, They take time 2 trust.DO YOU HAVE THAT TIME ?
U might be very sound academically but if u are distracted from ur studies.....u no d result.

If your parents are loaded then u can spend the way u like .But 4 me n some other guyz when dey leave on budget we got 2 save o .imagine 4 - 6 euro to enter most clubs meanwhile with 10 euro you can feed for a whole week.

If na permanent stay u dey find , i think d best way is 2 graduate very very well so u get good job which will give u stay.if u date a very sound chic either of u can get job that will make u both stay back .

If u jam Germo when serious she will not have time 4 u as her studies is most important.if she manage like you she go dey fix appointment for once a month or anytime when she don study her book finish and believe me seminer/presentations dey every now and then. If u jam the one when no like book she will pull u 2 every party in town .
And i do not know about other cities but in my city there is party every week almost like 3 or more different once a week. Mind u once u go party , your next day is ruined as sleep go dey worry u 4 class- who no go class go better pass u .

And talking about stay....do u think u will be a liability after graduating ?if ur result is hot u can apply for denmark green card scheme, u can apply for skilled immigration to australia, new zealand, canada, estonia 2 mention but a few. so if u must have romance have it because u really want 2 love not because u dey find stay.u world is looking 4 professionals and German Graduates are respected worldwide.

Please be mindfull of your account and contract here.Avoid contract stuff here because the company have access to your account,in liew of this they might debit your account for a very filmsy excuse.Apart from my house and mandatory AOK insurance,anything contract is a no no for me.At the end of the day its better to buy any stuff here outrightly.Expecially the telecom company here.I was charge 20 euro for a simcard which i can easily get from lycamobile and lebara free.The another company charge me 550 euro for making call to nigeria at night,claiming the price for night call is different blabla before i could say jack the money is out already....now i just load card and i use simple... I think i will tilt towards your opinion a bit...there is a saying in ancient greece, "man, know thyself". A self evaluation of your abilities, limitations and strengths will yield that, what works for A may not work for B. Some will spend their whole time in the club and still come out tops and some will spend all the time in the library and still struggle, whichever way, we should endeavour to get the best out of ourselves, i guess thats what Paulucje Meant, but the process of doing that may differ for different people.

Na only one line of equation and the definitions wey the man de talk for mouth I hear and understand. Funny enough e go just de skip steps assuming se you understand and the europeans go de tell am make e fire on. Before you try grasp one concept for eqn 3 or 4 my guy don reach eqn 17 or so. I had to go and meet him and pleaded with him to be a lil bit slow still for the next class it was worse off chai!

The pass mark in most uni is abt 50% ...50% for naija na C ..the person don dey form big boy abi. And A is 70% right?


No disrespect but nor be everybody when register as student be student some re here to work within that 2yrs and enjoy tax cuts as students(very common) and after they spend 3yrs in one uni they switch and continue from another uni.


Baba i will nt advise any new student to pick up a job during his/her first semester( my opinion). U need time to understand the system and then plan how to combine work and study...

If u ve a good grade in ur first semester ....u can apply for grants or look for jobs as Hiwi (student/research assistant)...it is nt that simple but it is possible...

And if u graduate with a good grade ...learn the language( even if nt as fluent as native speaker just show some commitment)..u can always find something to do and no one can take advantage of u cos their isa minimum amount u can earn with your degree. And if u dont wanna stay here with ur good grade u can find something elsewhere....

Intelligent or dull..u need time to understand these concepts as often at times they re new ..no thanks to our education system..at the end of the semester u may ve up to 300 slides with additional materials to study...

One lecture = ca. 20 slides
One semester =14 appointments with exercise if applicable.

One slide is abt 2 pages in textbook

in Nigeria u can go to club tonight and come write exam the next day (20 page course) and if u dont know u spy...but when u enter Hörsaal ( big lecture hall) and they tell u 3 per role( abt 3 free seats) and leave the next role empty....and duration 2hrs( u fit use 15mins dey read fhe question there)...Charlie body go tell u walahi. Or na oral exam...u open the door come meet 2 ot 4 profs all line question down...anxiety fit make u yarn trash sef...

to even write 2 exam one week na unwritten taboo.

I ve never written 2 exams in one week...the dept knows that these courses re bulky hence they ve at least a week interval btwn each exam and like uncle Futurewise talk if u fail 3 times u can never study that course again in Germany...if u even fail once the pressure is already on you

On the area of Food, Here is what I do . I buy sliced bread and nutela and take 4 slices in my bag to school everyday.in september i spent over 200 euros on food but in october i spent less than 100. i ensure i cook . Make plenty stew n soup every weekend then boil rice or make Griess everyday morning and evening. Griess of 29 cent can be made 3x. Rice of less than 1 euro can be cooked like 3x too.


ON School Location , I agree with u I got admission in schweinfurt and Hamburg. The cheapest i saw in hamburg was over 400 euro 4 shared flat and about 1 hr or so by train from school. But I took schweinfurt as the accommodation is 247 for self contain and 5 mins from my school on foot.

so if u leave in a small city u may save more and stress less. imagine when i have a class by 8:15 i can leave my room by 8. but if it was far i will have 2 leave by 7.
There are jobs but u must know German that is a plus 2 big cities though as u may get job with very low german lang.
BUT 2 be sincere When u wan take do u work ? when u get over 300 slides to understand or crame ? u go enter lecture of 90 mins u no go fit ask question as u no even get idea of the theories when they prove?

Omo as them announce credit transfer I sharply go transfer some so that my life go easy o .lol

It varies from uni to uni, in most cases 8am- 5pm, 8am-6pm and some uni 8am-8pm.

if u r suppose 2 do 30 courses in all and you transfer 10 for instance that means u have 20 left. so u might graduate sooner if u are able to finish the rest on time.

Thanks for this comment. You’ve opened my eyes to the grading system. Now, I have something to work with… Everyone can plan and work towards making a 100% and bad as e bad we go end for A+, or worse case scenario, A. It is very doable. I have seen dudes who didn’t start out well academically end up being top in their classes, and I have also seen very brilliant ones who ended up very poorly. It has nothing to do with clubbing or working 2 jobs. Infact, it has nothing to do with your social lifestyle. But, it has everything to do with your time management. Which we should all pay very critical attention to. We should endeavour not to miss classes, we shouldn’t hesitate to ask questions when we don’t understand, we should TRY and buy books and materials on our individual courses, we should devote adequate time to self learning and we shouldn’t be overwhelmed by the pressure of it all, which is why we need a distraction…..Some go to church, some to the mosques, and some to the clubs… or wherever…. A little distraction is allowed bro, and you can never get derailed if you plan your time properly.

To be honest, I really understand the point in @Pauluche’s comment. I was only trying to make light of his comment by mine. But I meant every single thing i said. Look at it from this angle, I don’t speak and understand German language……..My course is taught in English language……But I would love to learn the language…..at least e go add to CV at that part where you go add languages spoken, you go fit put English and German…..I intend to take German classes when i arrive in Germany, and have someone nice and cool I can actually learn from and speak with……so having a German girl will be like killing two birds with one stone….. Don’t you get it?

Alright I,m back. Had a busy "yesterday". Lemmi start with the issue Annie17 raised. PLEASE there are

***** You have to make up your mind to study. School here no be beans people have said that before and the Europeans are not making it any easy. You go come class and lecturer go just de talk, de solve and then you realize se at the end na only 10% of the lecture you understand you no go even fit ask questions as the lecturer de teach because you no know where them de I mean you're practically lost! Na der u go see Europeans wey de shake head de understand and de flow with the lecturer and then you begin to ask yourself what happened to the four years you spent in the university in Nigeria. Imagine you go for just one lecture and then you go through 103 slides. How many slides will you have at the end of 12 lectures assuming the class holds just once in a week or 24 lectures assuming it holds twice a week? And then say you are offering 4 to 5 courses in the term? Guy even if you make first class na wash when you come here. I have a very sound result and I was like Omo nothing de happen no be Economics, Econometrics, Calculus and all that? [size=15pt]Omo right now, something de happen to God![/size]
Anyways I no be relationship counselor it was just an issue raised over here yesterday and the previous post about German girls in this thread that necessitated the last paragraph.
