my main problem is the body of the letter not that i can not write a formal letter. Thanks just be my guard.

Seriously Stephen! there are some things you don't make public, no na, just doesn't make sense. Application Letter! Why didn't you just google samples of application letter, the same data you used to come here to announce this would have helped you over there and saved your face.

You could also have secretly done what Nicodemus did, look for one or two nairalanders whose posts you admire and who maybe are approachable to help you. You could have alerted them via PM.

Please, don't do this again I beg you. We were not taught CV writing in tertiary institutions but we were taught formal letter writing since primary school. Make use of available resource please, I beg you. You have no excuse not to open an english textbook.

I just finished my OND at Auchi poly and studied SURVEYING AND GEOINFORMATICS [Thanks for the congratulations, thank u and u welcum] Since i came back home i have been looking for a place to carryout my 1year industral training, just this afternoon i came accross a poster close to my street that reads something like this.
GLOBAL COMPANY UGHELLI, LOOKING FOR I.T STUDENTS FOR EMPLOYMENT, INTERESTED CANDIDATE JUST CAME WITH 2 PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH AND AN APPLICATION LETTER AND APPLY IN PERSON.
After reading it i called them almost immediately and i was told to come tomorow before 9am. I became over joyed and just this evening i remember the application letter part of the job, i became comfused because i am nt that good in writing letters mostly a formal letter for that matter.

I have not written an application letter before not to talk of an i.t application letter, the truth is i dn'nt know what to do that why i turn to you guys for help i know some will muck me but i really need ur help. what i really need is how to write the body of the letter dat my problem.

Like seriously! C'mon at this time and age....when you can even do self development via the internet...I can't even count the zillions of stuff I have learnt via the internet...pls stay informed...ask Google when next you get stuck especially not on trivial topics like this ( don't get me wrong its good to ask questions, asking questions doesn't mean you are daft but ask a good and needed question because no one knows it all) in between wish you all the best at your interview.
