I did a job for someone in Europe. She has a Paypal account and wants to pay me through Paypal. But you know we can't receive through Paypal in Nigeria. I have a Payoneer with a US bank number. Can I simply give my client this US bank number so I can receive the money through my Payoneer? Or is Western Union my only real option?

You can give her the US Bank account... Just ensure you indicate Bank name, account type which is CHECKING, then possibly account name.

Many thanks. I stick my Payoneer card into an ATM for the first time this morning and try to check balance, and it says: "Invalid... check with your bank". Is there something that might be missing from it?

payoneer don't accept direct deposit only ach transfer. Use ur payoneer account to open a paypal foreign acct with foreign ip or if u serious u can use my paypal account if its from legit source for a token

To some extent, yes. Because it operates like a normal account... Just the only limitation is that you only use it to receive money but you can't deposit into it yourself unless you wanna transfer funds from various sites to it. Basically used in sending and receiving payments. Each account on Payoneer belongs to different US banks.

First, have you activated your pin online ? Which Nigerian ATM bank is that? Is the ATM Mastercard approved - I mean does it have Mastercard logo? Not all Nigerian banks accept Payoneer.... Do you have money in your Payoneer card? Lots of questions that can be the cause.

ach transfer is a way us companies pay. Payoneer onlu accept payment from their listed companies eg fiverr free lancer you can consult their site for more info.
As for the paypal here get a vpn running then open a paypal acct confirm it with ur payoneer details.

I'm not sure what you mean by activating the pin online, but the card is fully activated and I have a pin. I used First Bank which accepts my other MasterCards. There is $2.24 in the card.

paypal would ask you to verify ur acct d only way u can do that is via credit card or bank account. So u provide ur payoneer acct and dey wud pay in small money aand u confirm it

It was current account I selected. Could be why. Ok, I will check again and select savings and if it doesn't work, I will Fidelity Bank. Thank you.

For Amazon, yes. I don't know for eBay, you can ask around. PayPal stopped it this year (I mean connecting it to your Payoneer bank account). You can link your card to PayPal though, but not the b/account.
