Demmocrats:
But since Buhari emerged president six months ago, it’s the Igbo of the South East that are now belting the marginalisation song with a rather extremist wing within the region taking up the separatist call of a return to a hitherto comatose Biafra nation
This statement is uncalled for,
Quite tribalistic and derogatory

I wonder when we will get it right in this country

Good Morning friends.
I hear say President Of Northern Republic Of Nigeria
Sacks EFCC Boss, Ibrahim Lamorde and Appoints Magu
As Chairman ?
.
Hahaha! This is gradually getting very hilarious and exciting. So there's know more good incorruptible and
competent people in the south, east and west ?
Shame to you all the South and East leaders.
And if you want to defend Buhari's pattern of
appointments, i think your best bet would be to tell us
how Southern Nigeria are so corrupt that it will be hard to find men of integrity in other region.
In fact, PMB advisers are not helping him by not letting
him know that Nigeria is too big for appointments into
key national positions to be confined to a region,
irrespective of whatever personal criteria being used.
This is a bad precedent in a multi ethnic country like Nigeria.

With the close to stealing the treasury clean the best the president could do is meet the need of the constitution by appointing ministers from all states .
I wonder if Buhari fail to a point from any wailers state by now the iboswould be crying at the front age of the united nations with their usual stories now the constitutional provisional is met but another wailer is out for is a new story .
Buhari has no problem with real Nigerians except the wailers from Biafra.

President GMB came to power after a landslide victory in the 2015 election Seen as a breath of fresh air, touted to be the change Nigeria needed and Believed to be A divine enthronement. Nigerian eagerly awaits the solutions to the many Challenges facing the Nation. God in His infinite mercy, we pray should guide and direct him as He tackles these enormous Challenges.

Unnecessary waste of public resources characterized much of government activities in the last 30yrs. Well, it's not too late to reverse that evil trend. The writer of that piece spoke the bitter truth.
Re: Buhari’s Ministers Without Portfolios by Nobody: 8:25am On Nov 11, 2015
Doing things differently let see where it takes us. Unemployment, insecurity, reduction in direct investment and per capital income have all been on the increase in the past decades since no measures was in place to reduce government wasteful spending. However, my concern is during each administration we always get news on proposed government plans directed toward making nigeria a better country and promising youth a gainful employment but in the end we always see politicians use that as an opportunity to siphon the public funds.
we have played our part to vote out the corrupt government by giving chance to those we believe will give us what we deserve.
Giving update on government plans and expected result is not a bad idea but seriously just go for it like you did on BVN. Do the needful to repair the damage don't tell us targets in the next 3 years.
Sack anybody, give anybody portfolio and get the ball rolling for as long as it is a measure to give the country the good foundation.

My take is that it is going to be shameful to have ministers without portfolio. Why pay them and not assign a portfolio to them? The constitution also says they have to resign any job they have, before being appointed ministers. Do we now expect people to resign their jobs, just to sit down for FEC meetings? We can always carve out something for each minister and after that the government can send a bill to the National Assembly, asking them to amend the constitution on the amount of ministers. They can ask for just two or three ministers from each geopolitical zone. Please don't make any of them a laughing stock, when there is so much work to be done. We can also cut cost by reducing advisers and assistants to the ministers and also overseas trips.
The minister without portfolio talk makes no sense. Even if there will be 16 ministries 36 people can easily be accommodated as ministers and ministers of state.
Re: Buhari’s Ministers Without Portfolios by AreaFada2: 9:02am On Nov 11, 2015
chinchum:
25 ministries for 36 ministers
Nothing wrong with that actually.

Certain rotten ministries can do with a minister and a minister of state (MoS).

The MoS can be given a specific role within the ministry. Like to ensure refineries are working within a year. That will be his singular focus in the Ministry of Petroleum for now.

Same can be done in Defence and Works ministries for Boko Haram & bad roads respectively.
