Before nko, don't you know you are owing NCC? Or do you think its MTN that will pay that money? Sit down there dey deceive yourself. You people will pay to the last dime. I loaded MTN N400 card yesterday morning and I called just 3 people and the money was exhausted. I laughed in Swahili. I just borrowed MTN N750 credit, finished the money and dump my mtn line. I don port abeg. Good riddance

stop raising unnecessary alarm!

you are on MTN trutalk+ where you pay daily access fee of N5 which is added to the first call of the day

so your call charge is only 44k for 4 seconds (11k/s)

I'm no longer recharging my MTN line since they started deducting and stealing from their customers after NCC filed them $5 billion. I recharged N100 to call a client last week around 11 pm, the client didn't answer my calls that night and i slept off, when I woke in the morning to call the client again, I noticed that N50 was deducted from my balance. I called MTN customer care (180) to know the reason for the deduction, I was not connected to any of their agent after so many attempt. Since then I switched to my Etisalat sim which enables me to make call at a cheaper rate (Easylife 4.0 plan).

I advice everyone to switch to either Glo, Etisalat or Airtel, MTN is now stealing from their customers massively since NCC ask them to pay $5 billion file.

You are right that is exactly what I noticed and want to write about. People should get their fact right before making unnecessary alarm. The #5 daily access is bind to be deducted on your first call of the day and subsequent calls will be charged at 11 kobo per second. That is the same package I am using and it really make sense.

Someone should please explain MTN's rationale for deducting airtime on the Betatalk tariff plan. Ma airtime just dey enter ground with the same alacrity as Madueke's corruption scheme.

Why can't u people leave MTN alone or are u all so possessed with them? MTN is not the only network in Nigeria. Even people will subscribe for truetalk and still raise alarm when they deduct their daily charges. I guess it's all fun for y'all to make fun of MTN. Last time I checked they are not forcing anyone to use their services.

You won't notice if you make a long call.

Try calling someone tomorrow morning, let the person pick for 3 or 4secs then you'll notice.
Or you haven't called anyone today, you can try it.
