When Professor Viola Onwuliri was Minister of State for foreign affairs(and later doubled also as the minister of education),Governor Rochas Okorochas termed her a "junior Minister", and that Imo state did not deserve such junior office.
He promised Imo people during campaign that APC will give Imo state a better office.
Please,now that the Imo state's nominee,his inlaw(his daughter's father-inlaw) Prof. Anthony Anwukah's has been given a 'junior ministerial' portolio as Minister of Education (State) by Buhari,Imo people are waiting for Rochas justification of this.
He should also explain on behalf of his Oga at Aso Rock, why a professor and former Vice-Chancellor is a junior Minister of education while a journalist is a senior Minister of education.
Governor Rochas, ndi Imo are waiting. Or is he going to deny it as the APC has been doing for everything they had promised.

Please note,we don't have an issue with what was given. The people just want to see Rochas clarify on to what he boasted on especially since he antagonised the PDP when Imo had a minister of state for foreign affairs.

That's the major factor. He man performed woefully during the screening and should have been dropped if not for Okorocha's clout. You won't ever believe he is a professor and a former VC.

Its clear PMB was not happy with the choice of Anwukah as nominee by Rochas,considering he did so based purely on family links.It was also known that Anwukah has a corruption allegation on his neck.
PMB had to pass a msg across to Rochas:u have to look beyond family in this change era.
If they had allowed Odimegwu to have that slot,i bet he wud have got a substantive ministerial post.

To be honest the Prof doesn't even worth been a Junior Minister of Education self, Special duties would fit him most judging by his very poor performance in the Ministerial screening....He performed so poorly...

Delta - GMD NNPC and Minister of State for Petroleum, Enugu - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anambra - Minister of Labour and Employment, Ebonyi - Minister of Science and Technology, Abia - Minister of Industry, Rivers - Minister of Transport.
And our dear Imo professor was made a junior minister of Education with aboki as his substantive minister. The man can't even open mouth to talk in FEC, he will shouted down to allow substantive ministers to have their say

Imo State is a very inconsequential state in the scheme of things courtesy of Okoroawusa. All other states in the SE got senior ministerial slots. Nobody takes Okoroawusa seriously. I thought I was the only one that noticed what the OP is saying. It is very bad for the already battered image of the state..

Even Amaechi regarded Imo state lowly when he addressed the state as ordinary
