PUBLIC OPINION: What An Akwa Ibomite, feel about biafra, (A days experience at the An Akwa ibom Park)

"EKPEKAB EWOD MmMO UKED" how i wish, they would kill them all, exclaimed one woman, as another narrated her experience, n traveling to Aba.

moving closer with my school back, i got to feel the womans frustration, as she was cursing the protesters, whose protest led to the closure of the market, hence her trip there a futility.
At that point, another man, who was also standing with us, awaiting the "Akwa Ibom Ado Owk" bus, (a long marcopolo bus, for conveying people cheaply from Uyo to Oron for #200 as against #600 ) quibed in, "Nkor Mmoh Enam fuel Asoboh mm"(shey they are responsible for this fuel scarcity.
he then went into the long process of lambasting them, stating how selfish they are as a group, how they would always want to eat their cake and have it, another went joined, starting how happy he was to see thw military shoot at them in Rivers, how their leader escaped, leaving the others to be arrested and remanded in custody,
Another now lamented how stupid those protesters are, stating that most of those arrested now would never see the light of day, that he's uncles nephew, that got arrested in a showdown like this, during Obasanjo's era to this day, have not been heard of,
then another contributed "yak mmoh eki try ndisemeh mmo ado mi oo, mak mfinah" (let dem not try that their rubbish here oo, to avoid trouble"...
then the driver, now added, "nkor ekpeh eyung eyak mmoh eyonghor, yak eduok emem" (they should be alowed to go, so that we can have piece"

It was at this point that i made my own contribution "nkor emeh diongho keh mmo ebor keh nyin yeh mmo idonghor kiet ke biafra ?" (shey, you all know that, "they" believe that we "ibibion" and them belong in biafra ?)
to that question i got an Unanimous "Abasi Akan(God forbid), "Itipekeh (not happening) and other words showing total disagreement...
At that point, one Igbo man, joined sayinf, "shey una Akpabio marry Igbo woman, we are one na, Uneghe yhe ibibio, ido kiet(igbo and ibibio, we are one)
it waa then that the angry throng turn on him, sone asking him what he was doing here, some telling him to go and join his...... brothers, another asking how peaceful (IKA and neighboring igbo community has been living, fighting and killing each other till date).
With that, i had this sense of fulfilment in me, that my people, dreaded the "biafran nightmare as i did, and didn't want any part of it.... from the experience in #AKWA Ibom city park, Mbiabong# its obvious, Akwa Ibomite, and probably Cross Riveriens(our sister) do not share an inch of the Biafran dream..

we are Nigerians, and if the worst comes to the worst, we would rather be on our own, than join the Biafranz..
11-12-2015...

At this point, i checked my watch to discover that i wont catch up with my evenings schedule, if have to wait, for the bus, thus i mopped my entire pocket, held the proceeds and reluctantly headed to the taxi to pay triple the amount #650. instead of 2
#200, officially am going home broke, thank God though its home.. lolz.

The Zoo is quaking badly. Propaganda everywhere.

Me I was in Nairobi and also heard them talking about Biafra. The tall one told the short one "Biafra tataki takata oronwi me" - "gods forbid that we join Biafra". The second one said : "bakka ibokaa Biafria nonii ninnaa" meaning "Biafra is not for us Kenyans". I turned and asked them "but who asked your opinion"?

Shebi when I open my mouth to talk, some bàstards will call me yoruba.
All that brothers and sisters is only in the ibo man's mind. The average Akwa Ibomite does not share that nonsense sentiment.
If they born dem well, let dem bring dat rubbish down here.

Even if this bullshit up there is true.....how does. The opinion of. 10 or 11 riffraffs in one bus become the opinion of. Even a percentage of the people?.........

Anyway I believe everyone has a right to associate with whomever he or she deems fit

There is no physical force needed. Those who want to join Biafra will do so while those who want to remain in Nigeria will have their opportunity. These bus people should wait and see how difficult it will to come to Biafra for buying goods. They will need to apply for visa and wait for the approval. grin grin

There is no need for propaganda, just telling you biafrans what you fail to understand. behaving like miscreants and jeopardising the lives and properties of other igbos living in other parts of Nigeria just shows how sily an immature you are.
