* Download TWRP for Tecno C8 by Team @ http://.com/redirect.php?link=htt...t=download
* Unzip the TWRP zip file and flash the recovery image to the phone using Sp flash tool @ https://forum..com/thread-159.html
* Boot the phone into TWRP recovery mode
* In TWRP recovery, tap Install
* Navigate to the location of the SuperSU zip file you downloaded in the first step then flash

Go to settings>about phone>press build number like seven times. Developer option shud show

Oga that was how I was able to upgrade my ram to 4gb. I told u that's what I enjoy but someone said it is not possible to tweak ram via software strategy so I kept my mouth shut. The end of your knowledge is the beginning of another person.
Can u please drop the procedure u use? I have a little problem with mine. Instead of showing me four storage to choose from, it only showed three storage. Am confuse so I have to stop there.

Where did u download it? The one I saw on playstore isn't free.

I hope you know that that software uses part of your SD card or internal memory as the additional ram and as a result shortens the life span of your storage because of the swap action which involves constant writing, erasing and rewriting on your storage. So you are advised to use your SD card if you have to do it instead of your internal storage.

My C8 did not even give the option to choose my internal storage. Tanx for the piece of advise.

After the new update, I decided not to root again. Seeing u guys comments changed my mind. I rooted again, changed my launcher, expanded my ram. Now enjoying my phone cheesy

Dont know... Cannot download with my C8 from play store... I've good 3g network. Also I didn't get the update like u guyz.... Click on update I got the system up to date msg but whatsapp stuff not fixed n no locking on multitasking... Any solution to this?

I chose SD card. I don't know what would happen if you remove the card, but I don't think it should affect it once u still have the created File in your SD card root folder.

Wow! So u have already increased ur ram. I increased mine by 3000mb, but I think I have to reduce cos I am left with only 1.5GB free space in my SD card.

Please stop deceiving people with your software knowledge !!!!
I can say it again, Virtual RAM can Never perform as Physical RAM....
Everyone should take time and google Swap file in computer terms...
