Why I Pray For France And Not Nigeria. by Nobody: 8:57am On Nov 15, 2015
A recent comment by Phyno, a Nigerian musician of Igbo extract met a backlash by internet miscreants yesterday, many of them kept wailing and asking if he had even made such comment to pray for the North and those affected on a daily basis. Well, it is undeniable that during the first days of terrorism in Nigeria, everyone was sympathetic to the plight of those affected, and we did our best to show concern.

My reason for not caring is not because I am a biafran, far from it, but it is because I can never pity anyone who is trapped in a hole and yet decides to continue digging, I will never pity someone who is being murdered, yet decides to shield his assassins, for simple expression, I would outline my reasons as my conscience spells out.

1. The french police stood up to the task within seconds;

In the videos of the attacks I saw, I was impressed, at the first blast, it didn't take up to 30 seconds, a stadium police radioed out his mates to send the fans down to the field, and form a protective ring around them... Who wouldn't be proud? These people had a sense of belonging, they felt responsible for the safety of their people, and even gunned six terrorists down, on the spot! They reacted, but in Nigeria, the police only turns up after 2hours, why should I pity them?

2. All the Frenchmen condemned the attack:
Immediately after the attack, several persons condemned it through whichever means they could voice out, Facebook, twitter, Instagram, interviews, THEY ALL CAME OUT AND CONDEMNED IT! THERE WERE NO NORTHERN ELITES WHO HID THEIR VOICES, NO COWARDLY SENATORS WHO SAID THEY COULDNT COMMEMT!

3. The People worked with the Security;
Immediately after the attack, the police swung in, the red Cross swung in, ambulances everywhere, some helped to identify suspicious persons. IT IS NOT NEWS TODAY THAT SOME VILLAGERS IN THE NORTH HELPED SEND NIGERIAN SOLDIERS INTO TRAPS BY WORKING WITH TERRORISTS AND GIVING THEM FAKE INFORMATION WHICH HAD LOTS OF SOLDOERS DEAD!

4. Nobody is Talking About the Hague;

When General ihejirika dealt with terrorists, so many northern leaders rose up and even submitted petitions for him to be tried to mass murder, they spoke in defence of terrorists.

5. Even Kenya;
We should not forget the westgate mall event, the Kenyan police stood up to fight these terrorists, with zero support from the west, they combated the Al-shabbab, even without being the giant of Africa, and guess who came out victorious?

6. No Propaganda, No Politics;
In the face of terror, everyone came together, nobody made the other look clueless or incompetent, no Sahara Reporters to murder peoples careers instead of murdering these terrorists with words. But in Nigeria, we know how it all plays out.

Now, having noticed all these, why shouldn't I have compassion on these people who chose to help themselves instead of love in deceit and self denial? Why shouldn't I pray for them?

And for those that say the west has never shown concern for us, remember that even people who don't know chibok, stood out withcards which read #BringBackOurGirls, even without knowing it was politics at play.

May God Heal and Bless France.

All these reasons you mentioned is why you should pray harder for Nigeria, instead of feeling contempt for your own FATHERLAND.
After all said and done, you're still Nigerian, and all this hate you feel for Nigeria, you're indirectly hating yourself and your people. That's a very sad life.

May God bless you for this intelligent submission. Please my fellow Biafran comrade, do not be swayed by these never-do-wells called nigerians. They will attack you for the position you've taken, but you must stand your ground. These baboons and monkeys called nigerians are nothing but vermin who pretend like they have human feelings, when infact most are cowards who like to see others suffer like them. Again, my compatriot, stand your ground cool

Nigerians have decided to live comfortably with terrorism, but they insult those of us who still decide to be compassionate towards those who are not comfortable with terrorists.

FRANCE! CAN YOU SEE THIS?

Oh so how many troops did they send to defend you? Zero? Surely you're not counting the few antiquated dane guns they may have sent which were of zero effect, and were more to boost your morale as you were being slaughtered en masse? Walking dunce.

very true words, how can the world unite with us in our trying times when we ourselves are not even united. we are some group of selfish ethnic and religious bigots clumped together claiming we are a nation.

Wrong. Some forms of 'support' are mere deception designed to encourage you down the wrong path. The French "help" of Biafra was a sham that did nothing for Biafra except prolong its suffering.
