Buhari’s Accountant General Signed TSA Agreement With REMITA, Not Jonathan – Report.....i had to take time to research on this controversial issue, there are more questions begging for answers 1) What is the cost of operating the REMITA platform such that 1% of total remittances is deducted per day and shared between CBN,SYSTEM SPECS and BANKS? 2) Who is auditing them to ensure all fees collected are remitted,is there any independent third party auditor to conduct quarterly audit in line with international best accounting practices.? 3)With the current financial quagmire facing the Country,Does it make sense for any sane Govt that plans to cut costs to agree to such an extravagant 1%charge per transaction? Don't mind the stup1d imbeciles who call themselves APC. They think they can manufacture and distort facts like they please. The TSA was launched two months ago, and they some how managed to claim this scandal was perpetuated by the GEJ administration. If so why didn't the holier than thou President, Mr Integrity negate this clause and use his authority as President to strike out whatever arrangement made by the past administration. Afterall, he has a habit of derailing and ending the political and financial arrangements of the past administration. He could without batting his eye, end SURE-P and fire Bayero from NPA, then why couldn't he also strike out Renata from the TSA policy. We are beginning to see why some certain people helped in rigging the President and his illegitimate party into power. |

It amuses me. When wailers come to comment on a thread. It is as if they type without an iota of brain input. When TSA was implemented. Wailers came here to attribute it to Jonathan. Now 1% charge is Buhari's accountant general. It is well. I wish we could reason things out holistically as nigerians not as half-brained partisan junkie |

Thetrentonline keeps exposing themselves as being a PDP propaganda online media outlet. So, which rep said that? Was Buhari the president in 2013 when the government went into agreement with SystemSpecs? |

doctokwus:If you think the report is biased and baseless why have they not cancelled the contract with REMITA and reverse to the platform developed by CBN |

youngalex:We are talking about 1% of our GDP as all government revenues must be handled by Remita, not even part of our earnings. For transferring N1,400,000,000,000 which was done within 1 month, Remita got paid N14,000,000,000 (fourteen billion). Within a space of 10 months this Remita company could be richer than Dangote and Adenuga combined. Mind you, Remita is just a website, not even a company. It's a website that woudn't cost more than N50,000 to maintain. The name of this country is fraud!. |
