Am not deceiving myself. Someone failing on an assignment/endeavour/task does not necessarily make them a failure.
The word "failure" has a tone of finality. If he had said "in terms of his tenure as a president, Obasanjo is a failure" that would have made sense.
But generalizing and calling a man a failure is not something I would do. Saying "Obasanjo is a failure" is not right cos even if he has failed all his life to this moment, he is still alive and he can still turn things around.
