http://www.math.buffalo.edu/mad/PEEPS/obi-chike-fermat-review.html

The review below, of Chike Obi's 10 page solution to Fermat's Last Theorem, was printed in Mathematical Reviews

This is a naive attempt to prove Fermat's last theorem using techniques known only in Fermat's days. This time the error is on the bottom of page 292. The author states
that some numbers, having nothing to do with the equation, satisfy $a\sb 0\sp 2+b\sb 0\sp 2=c\sb 0\sp 2$. The conclusion is that a certain case of Fermat's last theorem is
solved. Using this technique one could prove any conjecture made in mathematics.

Even if he truly solve the problem , what is the benefit to the system of white supremacy which is the dominant ideology in the world today, that an African solve one of the vexing mathematical problems of the 20th and 21st century. So you guys can start thinking you are equal to the Europeans? To help boost your self esteem and stop worshipping the white man? And you folks really think they really want you free and independent and in control of your resources they have been feeding on over the last 500 years. There is no smoke without fire, so i am gonna wait for more info to come out b4 I discount if he really solve the problem.

Without being told , u suppose to that that the statement is lie and propaganda, Yorubas don't read difficulty courses that is why they keep on producing professor of animal science, peofessor of agriculture, anthropology, sociologty etc, all this nonsence courses, Yoruba man cannot be proffessor in engineering or medicine, is just few that manage to be. Yorubas have a lot of professor but in a nonsence department

Jengem:
The Clay Math institute has distanced itself from claims that the Riemann Hypothesis, a 156 year old unsolved mathematical problem has been solved by a Nigerian egghead, Dr. Opeyemi Enoch. Enoch is a professor with the Federal University, Oye Ekiti, Ekiti State.

Several publications had gone to town with the report yesterday and earlier today, stating that the scholar had won the $1 million prize offered to whomever can solve the problem.

Email checks with the Clay Math institute resulted in a response from the Office of the President of the institute.

Naomi Kraker, administrative manager in an email to The Herald said, “As a matter of policy, the Clay Mathematics Institute does not comment on solutions to the Millennium Problems. The current status of the problems and complete information about each, can be found at www.claymath.org; I’m afraid I can not add anything beyond what is available there.”

Subsequent check on the website revealed that the problem actually remains unsolved.

You do know that this is not the clay institute- the body in charge of the problem.
The link if you care to open it shows the lecturer claiming to have solved it.
It need to be verified. Anybody can claim anything. Academic scholarship does not WORK based on your claims but based on a vetting process to rule out frauds.
It's published in a reputable journal, others replicate it etc etc.
The reporter interviewing Dr. Opeyemi is not a mathematician, he is going off based on what the lecturer is claiming.
