Is it that we don't know the implications to the country? Why aren't people talking about this? That's how a previous acting Chairman was left on seat for six terms when a tenure should not exceed 2 terms max! Please let us know that it's affecting collection of revenue for the government. A lot of key decisions can't be made right now because he hasn't been confirmed. Please civil societies and social media should question the National Assembly and the FG. Let key issues of governance not be shrouded in mystery to the detriment of All. As I speak, I have reliable information that tax collection in FIRS is suffering terribly!

His boss, Tinubu is at war with NASS. Until Tinubu eats the humble pie, his boi will not be confirmed. Infact as we speak some powerful forces whose feet Fowler stepped on in Lagos would not allow his confirmation. Bro when the President deems it alright is not remotely good enough. I don't care about wailers or liars and all that stuff. A board needs to be instituted with a confirmed chairman not just when the president deems it alright. If your read my brief write-up above, his non-confirmation is adversely affecting a lot of things, some you may not understand.

For instance if he needs to do restructuring and let go of some bad eggs in the system, right now he can't do that confidently as he doesn't even know his own future yet.

These are the kind of questions we should ask our legislators, so if truly they are waiting for bribe or trying to frustrate him because of selfish political tussles, they would know that the populace is up to their game and be pressured to act right.
