People can lie. The said area is just 2mints drive from where I stay.The fire incidence started yesterday,Tuesday not Saturday has reported. And it was as a result of pipeline vandals who wanted to siphon petrol from this pipeline.

More like "busy area" should not be located close to oil pipelines.

Probably d pipeline was positioned many years ago when there was no trace of human existence there but development and improper planning have led to people inhabiting there.

Do u know that those pipelines have been laid underground before what we call d present day warri? ...many were laid in d 60s and 70s when warri was still probably a village..pipeline routes depends on Where a production site or an oil mining field is and Also if there is a terminal, a refinery,flowstations etc...in all dis mentioned, they are all located within warri and its environs.... so there are so many pipelines running underground within warri

yes even as at 3:30 when i passed the over head bridge i no see any fire there, but observed blackish fluid along the pipeline route, that leakage has been there for almost 2 weeks now. all the management of nossra and nasdra should be sacked, they dont do nothing.
