God, help him come out alive, if this is true. God, you know that the lives of many Nigerians and many Africans depend on his business acumen. God, help him out alive, because if he is not alive, his business empire will crumble. Banks, friends, employees and family members will be fighting over the business which he will leave behind. God, let him come out alive, at least to enable him complete the fertiliser company he is building in Etsako East in Edo state, which preliminary construction has given the youths of my village 'something' to do. A least one of the youth just informed me he bought a golf 3 car from the proceeds of works done at the Dangote company. If Dangote does not come out out alive, God, there will be no jobs for these youths and they may be forced into criminal acts which may result to the killing of humans you whom painstakingly created in your image and likeness. Papa, na beg I dey beg, bring Dangote alive for us.

And they were shouting "Allahu Akbar".. So much from a religion of peace. No religion is causing so much carnage, death and hell in the 21st century than Islam... ISIS, Boko Haram, Al Qaeda, Al shabab, Yemenis militant et al.. Don't try to cover up by telling us they aren't true Muslims.. Why hasn't these barbaric and inhumane behavior been replicated amongst other religion? Why are Muslim's so easy to brain wash to fight for their Allah? Is Allah that powerless to depend on humans to fight for him? I urge every Muslim to see it so clearly that Islam is a blood thirsty religion and of course is far from being divine.

Gunmen attacked a five-star hotel in Mali's capital Bamako on Friday and are holding 170 hostages, witnesses said.

Attackers shouting "Allahu Akbar" opened fire outside the Radisson Blu Hotel in the centre of the capital before storming it.

Automatic weapon fire could be heard from outside the 190-room hotel where security forces set up a security cordon.

Speaking to Al Jazeera by phone from Bamako, business owner Garba Konate said a group of attackers showed up about three hours earlier.

"About 10 gunmen arrived early in the morning and shot all the guards in front of the Radisson," Konate said.

One of the guests reportedly staying at the hotel is Nigerian Aliko Dangote - the richest person in Africa.

"I started hearing gunshots coming from the hotel," said Ibrahim, 28, who works at a cultural centre 40 metres away from the hotel.

"Soon after I saw one of the guards running out, injured... The security guard told me the shooters were so quick that he doesn't even know how many came in," he told Al Jazeera.

The hotel's owner said it "is aware of the hostage-taking that is ongoing at the property today... As per our information two persons have locked in 140 guests and 30 employees," the company said in a statement.

The shooting follows a 24-hour siege and hostage-taking situation at another hotel in August in the central Malian town of Sevare.

Four soldiers, five UN workers, and four attackers were killed in that attack.

Armed groups have continued to wage attacks in Mali despite a June peace deal between former Tuareg rebels in the north of the country and rival pro-government armed groups.

Northern Mali fell in March-April 2012 to al-Qaeda-linked groups long concentrated in the area before being removed by a France-led military operation launched in January 2013.

Despite the peace deal, large swathes of Mali remain beyond the control of government and foreign forces.

Na dem dem

hello my people ...good morning, there is this Igbo proverb that goes like this " when an aberration or insanity goes on in a place and if not questioned it becomes the norm"

I know some will be dazed, amazed and possibly awed by this submission. I have been pondering why all these killing in name of religion... It still baffles me.

I just don't get this, how can some people claim to be adherents of religion of peace but give the world anarchy and commotion. Is this not saying one thing and doing another thing? The killings are getting out of hand. I think that there is sanctity of life. I am just asking these question when I saw the beheading of a 9yr old child in middle East. As a father I know the emotional, psychological and physiological efforts that you put into training a 9 yr old child and at the end to see her beheaded. A spade should be called a spade. This act is bad and we all sane people should condemn it. I keep asking if it has to do with islam as a religion or the followers as not doing the right thing the holy book instructed them .

I am at this crossroad and quagmire. All I ask is for clarifications . I have taken time to analyse all the bloodbath from kogi to yola then Syria to Paris then to Malaysia and Afghanistan.

Islam kills their fellow Muslim. Shiite killing Sunni
Then kills Christian just like isil is doing in France
They kills Jews for hubby...in short Jews are highly priced
They went on to kill Hindu people as we see in the India sub continent
As if that isn't enough these islamist encroached to the Buddhist zone. The Chinese fighting them in the fringes of China and they just killed a Chinese captive some few days ago by the ISIL

Now I think they have issues with humans but I was mistaken when I learnt that they do not like statues and from the plundering of museum and mosaic in the Arab world by ISIL then I virtually gave up

Look at Mali today .....

Learnt also they hate dogs and swine

I am still wondering why ? Has it to do with religion or with the adherents cos I know and have some nice Muslim friends. What is the problem here? I am just curious and if anybody can give me a clear explanation that will be highly appreciated. I just don't get it, I just can't process these killings mentally, these bloodshed in name of religion is highly condemnable

Psychologist and psycho analysts are trying to understand the mentality of people that Christian Europe gave refugee instead of them appreciating that gesture they turn back to bomb them. I have not even talked about the Oklahoma bombing. 911 was their finest gift to the world what of the Russian bombed aircraft in Egypt .

Rest in peace to those that died in Yobe and Kano bombs . Paris victims RIP

We have to preach peace and let us leave the fight for God. We all lack the capacity to fight for God. We are just mere mortals and how can we fight for an immortal entity like God that knows everything . I see those fighting for God as insulting him because in my Bible HE said leave vengeance for me.

Happy weekend and as Christmas is approaching please we all have to be very careful security wise because these people have a way of striking and bombing every Christmas .

History is a good time tutor .

NB
This is not islamophobic postulation but a commonsensical question that begs for objective and emotionally detached answers !!!
