If one were to thoroughly read the holy text in its original Arabic, gain knowledge on the birth of the religion, it's prophet & Hadith, and examine the period after his death, i.e, caliphate rule/conquest, etc, they could hardly come to a "peaceful" conclusion. Put under the same light of scrutiny, no other monotheistic religion can be deemed "peaceful" in any sense, really. I sometimes wonder if the "peace" label mysteriously garnered by Islam comes from the manner in which Muslims greet each other (by uttering the words 'peace be upon you'), but then that'd be ironic since Muslims aren't allowed to greet disbelievers (anyone who isn't Muslim) with those same words.

I mostly agree with your brilliant write up here except the part you lumped up christianity with other abrahamic faiths as not being peaceful. You have to note that christianity is based purely on the teachings of Jesus christ and not the whole bible so if you want to judge christianity you will have to restrict yourself to the new testament were christianity started and I can assure you that true christianity goes beyond just being peaceful to actually loving your enemies. Yes due to our human nature most christians are not able to love their enemies but that does not take away the fact that it is a core doctrine in christianity thus making christianity an extremely peaceful religion at it's core.
