When i hear the above question some years ago... I see it as if the question was targeted against the poor man out there who cant afford a standard life. Unknown to me, the life of the said poor man (who happens to be the okada rider) is at stake. This evening opened my eyes to these facts. Twice this evening the okada i took from suleja to my place (Dumeze, near Zuma rock) nearly got both of us killed(thank God for journey mercies). His mistakes would have being avoidable if he was driving a car (Atleast he is in competiton with other vehicles) orHow else can you explain how an okada will overtake a trailer in a busy express road? Dear Nlanders... I think okada should be banned on all our major road for the sake of our lives. Please share your experiences with okada men...perhaps pple in authority will see reasons for a ban on okada on all major road. |
