That comment in bold is one of the silliest reasons I've ever heard that makes one a Biafran.
Secondly, claiming that the non-Igbo ethnic groups in SS all originated from Eri, is an insult to their true origin and I don't support such baseless assertions.
That they were once Biafrans as you claim, does not mean they must be Biafrans now, albeit against their will. Groups like Itshekiri, Urhobo/Isoko, have no business being a part of Biafra. Consider the rough relationship they have with our Anioma brothers carved into Delta State, and now imagine how tense the situation will be when they have to deal with a much larger Igbo population.
The Igbo people are the main champions of Biafra for obvious reasons, but we should be careful not to force our ambition on any non-Igbo ethnic group. They have to want to join us on their own accord & even at that, we can only consider the Efik/Ibibio, whom we've had more friendly relations with. If not, we should stick with a Biafra comprising of only Ndị Igbo in SE, SS and lower Benue.
At the end of the day, an Igbo only Biafra, is a much more attractive option as far as I am concerned.

Unfortunately, we have NEVER been Biafrans. Every ethnic nationality have been autonomous before the British came first with their Oil Rivers Protectorate(Rivers, Delta and Bayelsa), then Niger Coast Protectorate(SS) and later Southern Nigeria (SS, SE and part of SW) before they finally graduated to Nigeria in 1914. Even the states (Rives, Delta etc) are all artificial arrangement. Same with Eastern Region, Western and Northern. We have different ancestry. I, as an Ijawman DON'T know who a certain Eri is. I am NOT from Israel. My ancestor is Oru(Ujo) and not a jewish man.

If we are to do away with every British arrangement then we have to collapse everything except ppl choose to align. For now we have no such plan as Ijaws(you can quote me anywhere). And whoever tell you that Ijaws are passionate about Biafra is a fraud. I'm 100% Ijaw from Okrika, Rivers state. I'm a member of the Ijaw Youth Council, and I can confirm to you that the Ijaw man sympathise with you in your Biafran cause but does not share the ideology(has Never shared in it). Thanks!

Please anti-igbo is not exclusively limited to the Niger Deltans.
Also, I believe in wide consultations among all groups but happily all igbo speaking regions in the south south should be allowed to determine their fate via referendum.
It's better that other parts even stay alone.
