12 Standing Committees of the Nigerian Senate were inaugurated today.

The inaugurated committees are: Education (Basic & Secondary), Women Affairs, Privatization Committee, Upstream Petroleum, Downstream Petroleum, Culture & Tourism, Gas Resources, Employment, Labour & Productivity, States & Local Government, Special Duties Affairs, Establishment & Public Service, and the Sports & Youth Development Committee.

Saraki,Remi Tinubu,Akpabio and others were present at the inauguration.

I'm glad that Mrs Remi Tinubu has burried the hatchet, and has agreed to work with the Senate leadership, to enact laws that will move this nation forward. Her conduct at the ministerial screening of Obanikoro last year is still fresh in my mind. She really disgraced women, on that day. I hope, this is am indication that Saraki and the President, will now look into how to solve the persistent fuel distribution crisis.The effect of this scarcity is telling on Nigerians, in every part of the nation.
