10 REASONS; AKWA IBOM SHOULD NOT JOIN BIAFRA. Am 100% in support of Biafra, anything am saying is my Opinion which am entitled to! Am not speaking in behalf of any body.

1. BIAFRA:- The word or name Biafra has no meaning In Akwa Ibom. Biafra is an Igbo word, it's also an Igbo struggle it's not favorable to non Igbo speaking tribes.

2. LANDMASS:- Igbo as a nation has a population of about 70million, but their landmass comprising of the five Igbo state can't sustain their population! Akwa Ibom has a land mass of............ And population of...............! If Biafra comes to live, Igbos with their greedy mentality will do to Akwa Ibom what was done to Lagos "NO MAN'S LAND" our arable and virgin lands will be occupied by the overpopulated Igbo Nationals.

3. LANGUAGE:- Biafrans speak Igbo language, Akwa Ibom speaks Efik, Anang, Ibibio, Oro dialects etc.

4. TRADITION:- Biafrans don't stay at home, e.g there's no family in Biafra Nation that does not have at least one member abroad.

5. LEADERSHIP:- Same crisis rocking Nigeria, will rock Biafra if Akwa Ibom joins Biafra. Will Imo, Anambra, Enugu, Abia, Ebonyi States allow Akwa Ibom produce a president?

"Captain Lugard had received a brevet-majority for his previous gallant conduct on
campaign, and his most recent command earned him the additional local rank of
colonel. Initially, Lugard commande 10, 15 d two battalions of the Northern Nigeria
Regiment; however, as the WAFF evolved and its list of campaigns grew, additional
local units were brought under the aegis of this single regional force. By 1902 (and

Though the officers were almost exclusively white Europeans and North Americans,
the ranks of these infantry units were comprised almost entirely of native Africans.
Just as in India during this period, the British Army developed strong prejudices in
favour of recruiting from certain communities for their purported martial qualities. In

word “Hausas” soon became synonymous for all West African soldiers."

"The Aro Expedition
Heneker’s operational successes led to a brevet-majority on 31 July 1901 and his
appointment as second-in-command of the Southern Nigeria Regiment, West
African Frontier Force. Soon after he was again leading expeditions into the Gold
Coast interior, this time as a column commander within a brigade-sized combined
arms force.
In late 1901 the British launched a substantial civil-military operation against the Aro
group of the Ibo tribe whose influence extended between the Niger and Cross Rivers.
The total area of the operation was 193 kilometres east-west to 144 kilometres
north-south, and operations lasted over four months.29 The British had a number
of objectives that required a series of expeditions against various factions of the Aro
tribe. First and foremost, they wanted to open the Ibo country to peaceful trading and
British directed commerce and prevent further massacres and subjugations of the
local populations by slave hunters and raiders. Second, they were keen to suppress
the native Long Juju practices once and for all.30
Lieutenant Colonel A.F. Montanaro, then commanding the West African Frontier
Force, deployed just over 2000 soldiers and 2300 carriers for this massive operation.
The white European officer ranks included at least a dozen Canadian officers at
all levels and functions across the force. Major William Heneker was perhaps the
most senior Canadian present in this campaign, being second in authority only to
