You are a Nigerian , don't you understand ..the petrol station said they are out of stock of petrol ..even though they had 2300 liters in stock to sell to the masses ....they were hoarding ..which is a criminal offence ..the DPR should have fined them 1billion naira

this is among the reasons 4 backwardness in d country. We cant b dealing with every issue civicly. Sometimes Nigerians needed force hands. DPR acted as buhari orders. And we still wanted more. These are critical moment n all hands must b on desk. We always wanted 2 pass d blame 2 d head.

We are giving the fuel free to fellow Nigerians that need it. It is a critical time we have to utilize what is available. This is the second station so far we caught hoarding .”
According to him, it would serve a warning to others hoarding or intending to hoard petroleum product.

Philip added that anybody caught hoarding, diverting or flouting petroleum laws and regulations would be made to face the law.
In past weeks, Nigerians have been groaning over the increasing scarcity of fuel across the country, with petrol stations hoarding the product and black marketers selling at exorbitant prices.

Last week, Ibe Kachikwu, the minister of state for petroleum resources ordered the DPR to seal off fuel stations found to be hoarding petroleum products and give out the petroleum free to the public.

They should have sold the product at normal pump price and gave the money to the owner of the filling station.

Buhari lacks the diplomacy to resolve disagreements. He is unfit for democratic government

Fuel retailers don't get subsidies. It is bulk importers that get something not the man retailing it to make ends meet.

Government price CONTROLS over something it does not supply ABUNDANTLY itself directly to consumers and users is a recipe for DISASTER.
I tell you that it is only a matter of time before the seeds of cluelessness that Buhari is sowing become even more manifest beyond the current NEGATIVE and declining economic indicators.
Just a matter of time.
