Liar! Those that travelled in December couldn't come back in January because the price of fuel didn't only go up, the commodity was not available. The DPR under Jonathan which was supposed to ensure that filling stations sell their old stock at the old price till they get a new stock, did nothing.
Abeg stop answering those 'wailing wailers'.

Can't they see the DPR 'going around now to ensure that fuel is sold at the official price of N87/liter? At least they have kept the price of fuel down at N87 per lit'.

Oh!! Can you imagine that? Don't mind the pdp wailers.

Please remind me the maximum pump price then and how much was crude oil in the international market, I have forgotten also.
See how FOOLISH you are showing yourself to be.
If crude price was high then fuel pump price would also be high with high subsidy, not so huh
Any chance to actually use your grey matter and stop being an APC zombie?

You and I have nothing to debate here sir.

You're only saying what you heard but here was among those that travelled during that xmass period.

T-fare was high just like you said, it increased by 30-45% at least depending on the location but it didn't last long.

The reason some spent extra days in the village was because they had spent all their money on beer and pepper soup.

The only money in their pocket was the exact amount they spent while traveling home.

But the media, mostly under the sponsorship of APC capitalized on that to ridicule GEJ led administration.

Like I have told you already.

GEJ didn't do what Nigerians wanted so they voted him out and voted Buhari in to do what they wanted but couldn't get from GEJ right?

It is wrong and silly then to compare his Administration with Buhari's own because buhari wouldn't be in ASO rock today if Nigerians were ok with GEJ's performance.

People stayed longer than they should in their villages, not because of fuel increament, but because they spent their money on beer? You talk like a child.

You think we have short memory like you? Nigerians that travelled for Christmas in December 2011 found it difficult to return to their bases in January 2012 because of the hike in fuel price. Jonathan was the President.
Stop your campaign to MISINFORM your fellow Nigerians, will youhuh
The INITIAL price hike was due to DEREGULATION of the downstream fuel sector coupled with fuel subsidy removal endorsed by the 36 state governors!
Thankfully there is the Internet.

Re: Nigerians Are Losing Productivity In Search Of Fuel, Buhari Must Act – Ezekwesil by mrmetoo1: 8:29am On Nov 25, 2015
The problem and hypocrisy of Jonathanians is that they now have the mouth to criticize. When I bought fuel for N300/ltr in May after going from Festac going past Agbara to eventually find the fuel even back then Jonathanians didn't think GEJ could do wrong. PDP guys would have been the ones attacking Oby if she made a statement like this.

The difference between then and now is that supporters of this govt don't mind criticizing them because they truly want them to succeed. The previous government failed because of sycophants. I appreciate people like madam Oby and I hope more people come out to criticize and not only criticize but offer solutions like what Soludo did recently.

Not trying to offer excuses for Buhari because there shouldn't ever be a situation where an oil producing nation like Nigeria should be facing this scarcity but realize this guy is working with years of rot. You buy a used not very well maintained car and from time to time, the problems will creep up. The main test will be how they respond to it, with this fuel scarcity the response hasn't been very satisfactory.

You think you're talking to a child? Did people drink more beer in the Yuletide of 2011/2012 that, for the first time, they're having difficulty paying their transport fare back to where they're staying?

This is the weakest defence you zombies always come up with, including PassingShot the paid sycophant. Elections are over, Bros this is more than six months.

I know you're just pained that we're calling that idiotic president his befitting name.
