APC PRIMARY: UDOEDEGHE’S APPLICATION HAS BEEN ACCEPTED

Our attention has been drawn to a release signed by a certain Iboro Otongaran, who claims to be the Director, Media and Publicity of the Umana Umana Campaign Organization. Our party pooh-poohs such blatant denial and falsehood spread by the Umana media syndicate to hoodwink the loyal faithful of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwa Ibom State.

First, we wish to categorically clear the air that the application by our principal and leader of the APC in Akwa Ibom State, Senator John James Akpanudoedeghe has been accepted by a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja. 

Hon Justice E.S Chukwu was present in court as proceedings of the day were carried out. Shamelessly, Mr Otongaran said in his release that “though Udoedeghe’s attempt to relist his dismissed application was to come up yesterday, 23 November at Federal High Court 8 in Abuja, the court did not sit because judges were attending a national conference at the Federal Capital Territory”. It is the plan of Mr Umana to shield the true situation concerning this case from the knowledge of the party faithful. But for how long shall this grand deception continue? 

I do not know if Mr Otongaran had a previous background in stand-up comedy but as a party, we wish to warn him that this is a serious case and does not call for this sort of childish lies and propaganda.

We urge our passionate supporters who have endured the storms since 2011 when Umana and the latter-day saints were in the PDP perpetuating unthinkable havoc on the members of our party and the good people of Akwa Ibom State, to disregard his cock and bull lies. We are optimistic of the progress of our case and we know that our leader, Senator Udoedeghe will come out victorious.

We encourage our party faithful to ignore the misleading releases from Mr Iboro Otongaran, Engr Ita Awak and other hired mercenaries who are out to misinform the public.
