Nigeria is already witnessing a lot of releases on tech devices; there have been many leaks on some astonishing tech devices. I see this as a result of the fast approaching Christmas celebration.

TECNO is planning to release a smartphone with a mightier battery than the one seen on its Tecno L6. And with the large fans base of Tecno mobile which now controls 50% of the African mobile market, you can be sure this will sell in droves.

Like Gionee, Tecno wants to do something crazy that will drop the jaw of everyone in the mobile community in the country, while offering same at a sweet price spot. An insider told TechLector that the new device would come with a 5000mAh battery. It’s bound to be even long lasting, more affordable and portable compared to the bulky Gionee M series which have kept the battery life junkies happy in the past.

The phone is codenamed “L5” and it would run on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The phone is also rumored to come with a 4.5” IPS Touch Screen.

Remember Tecno L series always come with not only huge batteries but also good battery life. I once used Tecno L6 having a massive 4,500mAh battery. Meanwhile you should take this news with a pinch of salt till the final release of this device because we are not too sure is the device will launch in Nigeria this year.
