The Era of Labaran Marku as the minister of Information of the Federal republic was indeed the halmark of Nigeria in public Image propagation and reports on activities of the Federal Government. This gave him the required popularity and made him closer to the president than the Special Assistant to the president on Media.

Lai Muhammed, although far older than labaran Marku, need to up his activities and refine his words so that he wont be seen as castigating people (Opposition, Media and Nigerian Youths) instead of attempting to make public the activities of government and giving the porpulace the idea of economic direction of the nation so as to inspire thm to observe and spot out possible economic activities that can drive the economy.

The Minister of Information has not changed his orientation about what it means to be a leader and an oppsition as he is found saying words that castigate his audience.

Labaran Marku was alway on the news to report activities of the government and advertising opportunities to the populace to take chances for change. This has not been the case for Lai Mohammed. He has castigated the media for not providing the right content when they are being persecuted by theGovernment for carrying out their basic activities.
