We've shared two eye-witness reports on this story, now we have a photo of the man after he was apprehended by airport security. The man appeared at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos this morning with a rock sack and approached a Medview plane that was taxiing. Fortunately, the captain of the plane noticed him and used high engine thrust to blow him away. See the burn marks on his body? He tried to escape but was caught by airport security who are now interrogating him. The airport was later shut down and vigorous search was conducted...

On a serious note, well done to the pilot.. Sharp thinking there..

As for the airport authorities thank God you caught him but he should not have made it that far in the first place.. Too many stories of people invading the tarmac.. This is a very very sensitive period as regards national security and it's quite appalling a man could make it all the way to a departing aircraft without being spotted.
