Gradually the agitators are coming to their end when the government will have to do the needful Obiano should not worry those sponsoring and paying them are easier to identify as he him if sponsored the book haram prisoners movement rioters it wasn't too hard before there was a complainant by one of being shortchanged in the sharing of money so Obiano can keep his address sooner than later the needful will be done . |

IPOB leaders know the best way to channel & present cessation is through a generally accepted and endorsed referendum presented through their representatives at the National Assembly. They know they mayn't get that referendum and they also don't trust their leaders in the national assembly to defend and project that cause of cessation. So! Who are the Igbos fooling? It is obvious that some Igbos are trying to use the cessation joker as a negotiation tool in the Nigerian polity. They are trying to blackmail Nigeria to surrender power to them. Afterall, they played negative politics in the course of last election; kept their eggs in one wrong basket which failed. The sponsors of IPOB are disgruntled elements who are pursuing selfish, greedy and corrupt motives. They are power and money mongers. Pls note: Igbos can depart from Nigeria if they wish but they must employ the right approach without necessarily shedding blood. We can do better without them. |

Whoever is inticing this IPOB youths do not actually know what they ate brewing. It baffles me to think that some misguided youths call somebody like Nnamdi Kalu their leader. What is the troubled youngman's pedigree. I would have had some respect for him if he went about holding conferences, writing articles and presenting his case like an educated person he claims to be. He went about inciting violence, beating the drums of war like he has ever fought a war. The elders in IBO land can't really phantom what the misguided youths want. They lived through the civil war and they will tell. Every reasonable youths of ibo extract really feel bad when we read how some misguided IBO's on forums spread hate between them and other regions same goes to other tribes that vilify every IBO unjustly. In a war nobody eventually comes out victorious. To destroy is very easy than to build. Ask Syrians what they would wish for now. I have lived through religious crisis in Jos and Bauchi and no party really gets to enjoy a war in the long run. Every reasonable IBO leader should better speak out now before this misguided ones bring hardship and destruction to the east. The federal government should really run an inclusive government. The elections are over. Every section of this country should he carried along for the next four years irrespective of where their political allegiance lies. Injustice and inequality brings can be used to whip up this type of sentiments. |

We need to watch how we go about the protests. Hoodlums will soon hijack it and it becomes a problem to us all. When it was peaceful, it had the support of all. Even people abroad. Why burn a mosque and Dangote cars? It means we are not better or more educated than the northern street urchins. I bet you tommorrow friday after mosque will see the killing and destruction of ibos and their properties except God thinks otherwise. |

Stylaay:I appreciate your comments and I must say that the reason IPOB is out with cessation campaign to corrupt & pevert peoples minds is majorly due to the negative politics they played in the last election which failed to yeild their desired result. They believed, said and sponsored several hate and despicable things about the Northern origins and particularly President Buhari. Hence, they can't come to terms with his victory and the fact that he is the president of Nigeria today. They are consumed with so much hate and pride that they wouldn't subject themselves to the leadership of others, especially northerners. Their character is their undoing, even in an Igbo country, they will still have the same problems they chose not to solve but rather blame others for their problems. I love Nigeria; that is my country. I pledge my loyalty, service and interest to Nigeria. I will defend Nigeria's unity, uphold her honor and glory. So help me God. |

Let's bring the issue of TRUE federation in the front burner of our discourse , and ask our governors of the south East what happened to all the money for development. The lgbo leaders seating in the National Assembly are the same people, who ruined the south East! Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria. |

All I can say to all this is that we should be vary carefully about this all. Don't forget that boko haram is partially being blemed on Jonathan. That he is the one fueling it, Ndi Igbo please don't let any body to fuel the fire that will burn your own house. Say no to disunity of our land ,we are business people, we don't have time to waste on matters like this |

Wallade:Funny you Umaru musa yar'adua of blessed memory came to power no body from igbo land rose against him infact they rallied for him when he came to power he lead like a democratically elected leader. Now a man who over time had shown his detaste for the igbos, who had shown his detaste for christianity with statements like baboons will bath in blood, with statements like an attack on boko haram is an attack on the north. with actions against the igbos during the civil war......etc. so with all these and no proper apologies the igbos should adopt him? the demon you knw is better than the angel u dont knw. And besides politics is a matter of choice if the igbos feel they wanted someone else and someone else wins should that someone therefore neglect them in his government or categorically state in an interview with Amanpour that he will treat the ppl that didnt vote him very less than the ppl that voted him. The igbos were not wrong not to av voted him(buhari) they jus told him we havent forgoten ur actions and statements through their votes if he were to be wise he should atleast work to unite nigeria throgh dialogue not force cos the more he uses force the more the Biafrans win through sympathy from the outside world. if he kills Mr kanu he becomes a martyr. Now is the time for wisdom i hope he gets one |

let me speak now am an Igbo I and my family did not support war or any form of violence. Even when We have right to protest do it peacefully without destructions of lives and property. peaceful protest or dialogue is what i preach. Again SE state government should look inward and know the cause of the protest i know is not only actualizing sovreign state of Biafra is the cause FG should also play all inclusive government for the betterment of our country Nigeria. a lot of my brothers money are been seized at airports and up till now FG are not saying anything in that direction and these are the people that those a geuine business making them to start from scratch again the monetary policies from FG dose not encourage private sectors let along business men and women as if one region in Nigeria are been targetted. Am pleading for our FG to loosing up on their hard monetary policies to revamp our economy and returned money been seized at the airport to there rightful owners. |
