Igbos own the major shops and assets in that market and some Igbos are happy it's burning because it is in the north!
tell them. These people down south and east don't know anything. this is the biggest market in kano and it's dominated by the igbos. these Igbo people are so established in kano that even BH can't make them leave. Ain't no way they'll agitate for Biafra. it means starting from the scratch.

Sabo gari is densely populated with Igbos.Infact the market in question is mostly own by Igbos and other Southerners .This may just be in reinteration of the mosque burnt by IPOB yesterday in Onitsha...North sha

Yes ' Sabon Gari' as a residencial area is mainly populated by Igbos but the market is CERTANLY NOT populated by the Igbos. You may have to pay a visit.

no be ur fault. if ur business was situated in the north u won't say every Igbo outside S.E on his own. this is what I keep saying, the Igbos are selfish. u don't care what happens to ur brother(fellow Igbo, not talking blood relation)
You're rather daft in reading and understanding and that's not my fault undecided
I said SS and NC...I never even mentioned SE and you're here blabbering ka onye nōt gbapuru n'isi angry

If they go beyond the pale of investment, you'd still be among those who'd go and destroy their properties due to envy undecided

The fire could have been started by the traders looking to cash in on Insurance Money and boogy down to the east before Northerners hear Go get them. It takes one Imam to lite a Match

Lol whos assets are in danger, traders that can relocate anywhere or the whole of Nigeria that feeds of Biafran oil. Who had assets where? If so meone in aba bombs 1 pipeline the whole of the ME wont have light or fuel until someone in aba fixes it. The entire northern oligarchy eats off eastern oil. After the oligarchy is the abject poor who are fed by them. 90 of igbo assets are in the east. Our remaining 10% constitues 50% of the assets in the Sw and north and this makes you think our livelihood is there but find an Igbo man who doesnt use and Igbo bank and build his real home in the east. Because an igbo man sells you the shoes he makes in at his shop in dutse you think his assets are in dutse?!
Isn't it so obvious you folks are dragging the SS into your biafra struggle just because of their oil rich state?

You can swerve to the left with your oil, there are tens of countries withou oil doing far greater than Nigeria as a whole.

NB I was at the passport office @ ikoyi yesterday. It comes as a surprise to see hundreds of IPOD youths shouting Biafra online seeking to renew their Nigerian passport.

your brothers shops are burning....their sweat and blood. And this is all you have to say?

This, right here is the exact reason why i do not want to share a country with you zombies.

If they still have tangible investments in that place they are not true Igbos...Those I know relocated their families and bought properties down here.

The boko thing is a blessing in disguise to the Igbo nation.... No amount of preaching would have made the numbers of them that have put firm investments down east to do so but for the boko thing

The burning will further reduce their population up North

Forgive their level of lgnorance. Most of them are either glorified errand boys in the market places or highly educated illiterates.

Sabon Gari market is burning, Ndiigbo dont appear to care. How many have even commented here and wat are they saying?

That speaks volume. In their mind, no igbos leave in KANO, becos they have been asked to relocate that business.

The east is opening up fast and we need that business more.
