This happened to me today, I ran out of airtime so I had to borrow from MTN.
I borrowed #50, I called and I spent 8 seconds. I wanted to make another call, It didn't go through so I checked my acoount balance and I was surprised It was #0.00

This is practically impossible, maybe your account was deducted due to another service you didn't notice on your line. N50 can never be charged for 8 seconds call except it is an END TIME call you made.

You got it al wrong, if u borrow airtime from mtn ur main account should show -the amount u borrowed eg -45 naira since 5naira service chareg has been deducted. But to see the remaining ballance of the air rime u borrowed u should use de same code u use in borrowing but this time select 3, u wil get a text containin ur remainin borrowed amount. Hope it helps.

they are thieves...na my money dem wan take pay their fine. Imagine charging me for services i never askd for

Same thing happened to me...
Am on super saver +, borrowed N200, dint make any call n everything was gone over nyt.. Their customer care self had no explanation, jst we are sorry bla.. bla.. bla ......
I guess mtn is trying to gather money for its NCC fine from subscribers..
