The battle to give Fulani the political control of oil producing states in the southsouth is getting fiercer. Once Fulani gets what it wants, southsouth people can no longer raise voice about resource control, 13% can even be cut down or abolished, as north has been protesting that it makes some states richer than others in one Nigeria - laughable -

Ignoramuses battle others in the southsouth to consign southsouth resources to Fulani.

Reports just reaching us from Bayelsa State say Niger Delta ex-militants have disrupted the election in Amassoma ward of Ijaw South Local Government Area.

The militants carrying firearms are said to have chased away the voters and INEC officials conducting the exercise in the area.

INEC officials, journalists and other stakeholders are reported to have scampered to safety.

Soldiers and other security personnel who accompanied the INEC ad hoc staff are trying to stop the ex-militants.

Voting in Ijaw South Local Government Area was scheduled to commence at 6PM.

“Severe Militant Activities”

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had on Saturday rescheduled the governorship election in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

An official of INEC, Professor Mustapha Leki, announced the rescheduled election at the headquarters of INEC in Yenagoa, the capital of the State. He said the INEC experienced major disturbances and challenges in a number of places, especially the Southern Ijaw Local Government Area.

“These were occasioned as a result of severe militant activities. As a result of this development and working in conjunction with security agencies, our first concern is to take steps to stabilise the situation to ensure the safety of electoral officials and the security of materials,” he told reporters.

He said that the development had hindered the distribution of election materials to polling units in distant places in good time for voting to commence.

According to him, the situation had been stabilised for voting to take place in the affected areas on Sunday.

Voting by 6pm, in such violence prone area... INEC sef.... Their own wahala too much...
My brother I wonder, how can voting commence by 6pm in a rescheduled election? INEC has ulterior motives, if not they should know by now that southern ijaw is a volatile region due to the large concentration of militants and ex militants.

We all know the "change" chanters like rigging and election bloodshed.

I've told people, forget these cry of PDP looted and billion found here and there. This present government have what it takes to cage Nigeria.

Some persons will say vote them out. It will not happen. Look Nigerians must be more vigilant than ever. Just 18 months left.........

Serious manipulation in happening.

Election is not rigged in the field,it's always the highest bidder that's wins. Especially in a riverine community whereby electoral staff are afraid of crossing water, most people are indirectly disenfranchised due to natural causes( talking from experience bayelsa state 2008 nembe lga.)

Apc has seen the hand writing on the wall. They should learn to concede defeat. No amount of Federal might wld change the results declared so far.

I don't like this partiality. If it is Boko Haram they will use terrorist if is Niger delta they will called them militant and if it's Biafra they will call them freedom fighter. Imo all off them are terrorists as what they do match definition of terrorism.
terrorism has no particular definition, but I'll advice you to think of terrorists as those who use practices of boko haram

Lazy Biafra like you are so funny. Please can you define who is a terrorist? Biafra agitators that burnt down a worship place and threatened to cause mayhem fit perfectly into the definition. So BIAFRA =TERRIORIST
