Jonathan's incompetence was as a result of his inexperience.

But that is no excuse. Jonathan is not a true leader. He was imposed on Nigerians by a person to run a government of the people against the people.

Jonathan's ideology didn't suit our Nigeria pattern because he tried to be soft, his enemies took it for a ride.
Example if it was Jonathan's regime they conducted these elections (Kogi, Bayelsa). You wouldn't see a do or die movie in it, In the areas of Justice the judiciary will be independent, letting the rule of law to prevail case study of Edo State governorship Election ( Oshiomole Vs Maj. Arihavbere rtd.
His quietness didn't suit Africa.
For this I loved Goodluck.
At least you can hear the way IBB is addressing him, if you notice you see someone showing some respect here.

It's the Nigerian brain at work in IBB. He expects the president to have prior experience at ruling a nation - makes no sense.

It's only in Naija that a president would have three or more years of experience as a head of state before becoming president.

IBB actually wants Nigerians to accept this as the Norm. His statement is to justify the belief that only old men like him, that have previously ruled the country, can be a good president.

Tell me, how many years of experience as president did Barrack Obama have before he was elected.

Bottom-line, lack of experience wasn't the cause of Gej's failure as a president, it was incompetence. Gej was incompetent, period.

. I was bored until I read your comment. The PBS News Hour report has more than enough evidence on the incomptence of former President Goodluck Jonathan and his corrupt government. Now, he is spending millions on international PR agencies on image laundering with his corrupt Minister of Finance who is buying international awards for herself by donating huge sums of dollars to the organizers of the awards. They can fool gullible and ignorant Nigerians, but not the foreign intelligence agencies with enough files on their corrupt practices.
