Even though I believe that this Biafra agitation is purely madness, I wldnt subscribe to the process of denying them the will to have their sovereign state of biafra.

All the government needs to do is sit and draft some agreements to mark up their boundaries so that Nigeria will only have 5 geopolitical zones.

if that was to happen calmly and peacefully it aint a bad idea...I push for true fedralism but if the country has decided not to go that way then a separation is a welcomed idea...we all should reach our full potentials and not been stifled by a group of persons...if this country wont develop because we are together then let there be a separation...

I'm currently serving in Ebonyi state and I must say, I DON'T SEE ANY OPPRESSED IGBO THERE. I hail from Kogi State, I certainly don't see any oppressed Igbo there, I grew up in Ogun state and I didn't see any oppressed Igbo there, was in Abuja for 6 years and not once did I see an oppressed Igbo there. Now I didn't say the entire country because I can only categorically speak of those states I've been to and observed.


Any person care to enlighten me? Maybe I'm getting it wrong somewhere.

Where do you want to carve the state out of? The SE is small in geographical size. Plus has the senators raised that inbthe Senate? Or do you think the president will just wake up and decide to create a state?

As for the 5% statement. You are simply being unfair and ignoring what he said. He said as a human being, he might decide to do more for the regions that gave him 97% votes as against those thay gave him 5% but according to the Constitution, that is wrong and even immoral so he would bot be doing that.
