The guys at GKChain – a US based tech startup sent me a very interesting device some weeks back and I had a field day testing out its functionalities. The name of the device is Gatekeeper and it wants you to abandon your old password ways without having to throw your passwords away – Gatekeeper will monitor your proximity and automatically lock your computer each time you leave your desk and unlocks when you return.

With this device, you don’t need to press any buttons or type any password, all you will need is the Gatekeeper and your presence – in Coldplay’s voice, Call it magic. The device also has a tracking device that will locate your device if it goes missing.

I got a review unit of an Amazing device called Gatekeeper, Gatekeeper will wirelessly monitor your proximity and automatically lock your computer each time you leave your desk and unlocks when you return. This will help make constantly locking and entering passwords a thing of the past. Asides that, Gatekeeper is both an information security and track/locate device, no more wasted time looking for lost or misplaced keys, with Gatekeeper attached, you can locate your key with your Android and iPhones via the track/locate app.

Great review. I'm going to recommend this for my cousin so she can attach it to her son, that boy can just literally disappear from plain sight.
Or it can even double as a gf locator. undecided
