hi poster, if u ve a test wt kmpg on monday and yet by now u dont have ur hands full wt practice materials, i suggest u ask 4 a re-schedule, dia is no hurrying, kpmg allows re-schedule all d tym. Am sayn ds cos kpmg only offers one chance.
And to all dos just asking 4 materials, i av to say am surprised to say d least, sorry if i may ask, did u just discover nairaland job section. All ds while u applied u sud av bn frequenting ere and lobying 4 materials, nt @ ds dying tym. My advise to all is as I've said above, u guys sud gt a reschedule, and if u've neva written any test b4 u sud probably take like a month to prepare 4 ds. Kmpg is real and u dont want to squander ur opportunity. My 10kobo.

Hello house, I applied for the KPMG grad trainee but i used my NECO as O'level certificate due to a D7 deficit in English of my WAEC cert. Will I still be allowed to write the KPMG test?

I don't think kpmg test is that difficult. That was my first aptitude test straight out of nysc and I passed, I couldn't lobby for materials cos I had only 3days to prepare.

of course u r right, it was my first test also mine was during NYSC, but i did nt pass, right in d exam hall i knew d result. I thnk its balanced coming from ur angle. It all depends on candidates background, pple who r well grnded in maths even up to university level have nothn to fear. But for those who av bn far away from maths 4 a while, u might want to revise.

For those who are yet to write d KPMG aptitude test, try to know percentage, probability, prime numbers, inequalities, rates and proportions, interest, algebra, profit & loss, data sufficiency, little gmat(don't waste much time on it) no graphs, no dragnet.
English: logical and critical reasoning, gmat verbal, fill in d gap, word and opposite.
Current affairs: like biggest cities in the world, past governors of central bank, abbreviations (ECOWAS), Nigeria regions and d states it constitute.
Essay: two statements, support or disagree. give reasons and
examples. one of d essay I came across was"Not everything that is learned is contained in books". compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Write at least 250 words.

Note, there are plenty paper types, people encounter different essay, different numerical, verbal and current affairs. d time frame is not much also. Also, try ur best on d essay, I think it carries mark.

Accounts department is a very small unit within KPMG and I dont even know how they recruit. But if you want to apply for a graduate position where you can gain accounting experience, then apply to audit. Audit takes a lot more graduates..up to 80 or more every year, so u stand a greater chance if you can perform well during the recruitment process.

Yes, you're right. some guys that we did documentation have been called. Thou they choose Audit. My Unit is Compensations and Benefits.. though I have another job rightnow, just that I love KPMG
