From the pics, is a road in Eligbam PH which is used by vehicles. This morning, the road was blocked and we were forced to use another Road.
I have been in Phc since 2011. The practice of blocking roads for social practice has been going on unhindered. One day I was heading to school (Uniport) for a test on Friday and was held in traffic around the Ozuoba Road. The cause of the traffic was that one of the dual Lane was blocked cos of social function. What if there is an accident.
This should stop. These people should go to a town hall and host whatever they want to host.
People and government of Rivers State should try and end this practice. Is an act of gross lawlessness

This used to be common at my end back then but it has been stopped. Most events now take place in the primary school compound(marraige reception/ burial reception) or town hall( marriage receptions).

It is left for River's state govt. to enforce it.

Is it that people who do this don't have enough space to host parties in their compound?
