This killing what makes it different and special to ones that happened or still going on unreported. Innocent IPOB civilians, unarmed were massacred in Ibo land,eastern part of Nigeria no zoo. How many times had these same fanatics murdered in cold blood thousand of innocent people just on religion divide. For me this is no news credible enough to be reported.

It seems we are missing something here. I think the question that should be asked is, why is the military after El-zakyzaky and his followers? What do they stand to gain by hunting him down? Last year something like this happened and the man lost three grown up sons. I refuse to agree a government institution like Army would be fighting an individual for religion sake and i don't want to believe is the popular Sunni vs Shiite feud.

Arabs are not Shiites. They're sunni. And they're a tribe. An extremely negligible number of Arabs are Shiites. Shiites are found in mixed or Persian countries like Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan. Those are not Arab countries and are usually offended when uneducated pple call them arabs. They don't wear white flowing gowns and red/white chequered scarves on their head.

Almost all Notable independent institions of respect are being desecrated under BUhari. First it was DSS, INEC and now Nigerians army. They are fast loosing respect in the eyes of the sane Nigerians. We cant stop anybody from radicalising. They blocked the convoy of the Chief of Army Staff potentially endangering his life. They did this at a time when insecurity is at its highest level and in a region where insecurity is rife.

They asked for it and got served.

We need to destroy the culture of impunity in this nation.

When you speak out against injustice meted out to Ifeanyi at Onitsha, Olu at Oshogbo, Haruna at Kebbi, Ejiroo at Sapele, Osaretin at Benin or Ekaette at Calabar you are inadvertently preventing injustice at your doorstep. We shouldnt cry foul only when it affects us directly. Silence or 'it doesnt concern me' is dangerous.

I support the Nigerian Army in its brave fight against Boko Haram. Their fight against terrorism is in the best interests of our whole African continent, not only Nigeria.
That notwithstanding, their shameless, cowardly and brutal massacre of innocent and unarmed Shiites and arbitrary assassination of Zakzaky and his family is totally unaccaptable, indefensible and a gross injustice against fellow Africans. It tantamount to state terrorism and must be condemned by all Africans and the international community. Go and fight Boko Haram! Stop taking out your frustration on innocent civilians.
