This high blood pressure is no joke ,i feel everyone shld invest in a blood pressure monitor , they are inexpensive and really invaluable because high BP is the root cause of so many sudden deaths , it is no longer an old person's disease , younger and younger people are getting it, the thing just creeps on you and before you know it , e don happen.
it becomes important to know certain stats as you age , like blood sugar level, blood pressure stats, what do you weigh, what shld be your ideal weight, blood type etc
Cut down on excesses like Smoking, alcohol ,red meat, salt, stress all these contribute to high BP, although genetics and Family history of high blood pressure are just some of those causes that we have no control of , but the good thing is high BP can be managed

Normal: Less than 120 over 80 (120/80)
Prehypertension: 120-139 over 80-89
Stage 1 high blood pressure: 140-159 over 90-99
Stage 2 high blood pressure: 160 and above over 100 and above
High blood pressure in people over age 60: 150 and above over 90 and above

Lets lead healthier lifestyles and leave the rest to God

Today with the loss of a great comedian, actor, human been, Robin Williams; I was thinking about a famous poem written by a Mexican poet, Juan De Dios Peza; it was about an English actor named David Garrick, portraying him as a depressed comedian in 1700..
It was my father’s favourite poem when I was a child, and he used to recite it time after time. I don’t think he empathized with the feelings of the poem, but rather liked the irony of its ending. That’s what impacted me as a child, though with age I’ve been able to understand the feelings expressed much more clearly.I would like to share this poem with all my friends and family, and think that today we lost another Garrick, Robin Williams made us all laugh while inside he was crying.Rest in Peace….

To Laugh While Crying .
Watching Garrick – an actor from England -the people would say applauding:“You are the funniest one on earth and the happiest one…”And the comedian would laugh. Victims of melancholy, the highest lords, during their darkest and heaviest nights would go see the king of actors and change their melancholy into roars of laughter.
