I think we need a box to box midfielder to groom as a replacement for the aging trio of Arteta, Rosicsky and Flamini. Another striker would be a plus.

This is kind of tricky. I am sure we are grooming Bielik in that position. He has been playing CB for the youth team for a while now and has formed a good partnership with Julio Pleguezuelo. I reckon this is our way of helping him improve defensively because his natural position is in the DM role. He's a good tackler though but still raw.
Hayden is another player in the youth team in that position. He's on loan now at Hull (with Akpom). Unless there's an extraordinary development, I don't think he'll continue at Arsenal next season. But then, who knows?

One player I tip to do well in the DM role for us IF played in that position is Maitland-Niles. He's currently doing very well at Ipswich playing on the right hand side. He has plenty of energy (ala Alexis and Ramsey) and is good on the ball. He can also read a game excellently. IF he is played in the DM position, I tip him to do very well.

Meanwhile, I've been following Szczesny at Roma and so far he has been...well, Szczesny! Some games he'll be magnificent and some games, he'll mess up as before. He even had another smoking incident some weeks back. The guy needs to sort himself quick. He should be the natural successor to Petr Cech but he needs to be more consistent.
