There are some things I would like Nigerians to know. "There is always a reason to beat the maid".

The destruction of Shiite base was not as a result of blocking the road or attempting to Assasinate Buratai, that's bull crap.

However, the Shiite Sect originated from Iran. It was initially a grand conspiracy to fight Jews but they escalated.
Elzakzaky was chosen by Iran in the 80s to put their ideologies in Northern Nigeria. This group has been breaking laws, terrorizing even their fellow Muslims for long
This group were allegedly behind the assassination attempt on Buhari. Take note.
The army was in Zaria to destroy them nonetheless. The road blocking was just an excuse to commence operation.

My take on this is that they needed to be stopped on time. They were likely to get bigger soon and Kaduna is too strategic to be used as a terrorist base in the north.

The Nigerian Army is just giving Boko Haram the upperhand with each of their everymove; they should use their present stock of weapons wisely because I don't see any country that will legally sell them weapons as from now.

As far as i don't like MUSLIM and there barbaric Islam religion, but what the military did is uncalled and genocide!

You can't just attack an unarmed civilian with guns and destroying there home for just that simple protest.

Our military are very STVPID and untrained.

I guess that's what there have been doing in Maiduguri, killing innocent people there and burning villages.

I am not disputing ur claims, but please as "the wise and smart one" give us few examples of how a handful of soldiers would have cleared a path blocked by up to a thousand Islamic mob chanting and yelling "alahu ahkbar"

Many of us just come here to say rubbish with the intent of pushing blame on a specific government we despise. That is the real problem of Nigerians. Only few of us are transparent and unbiased in our reasoning.

When they attacked and killed some members of this same group about a year ago, I didn't feel it was just, but I felt the soldiers were pushed. I didn't blame the soldiers and neither did I blame GEJ for that incident. Why is it that all of a sudden, a similar and more antagonizing event occurs, and suddenly, some clowns come here to put d blame on the army and at dsame time gladly blame GMB?

If they had successfully mobbed and killed the COAS and his crew, these same goons would still come here and shout Buhari dis, Buhari that. Now the army were antagonized and they decided to fight the mob, these same group of e-goats are here talking.

Why must people carry weapons like machetes to confront d Army with all this happening in the nation??...if u think machetes are not weapons, go and read the history of atrocities it was used to carry out in Sierra Leone, Rwanda, etc. Just a few months ago, some rumors were circulating that hundreds of soldiers were killed in one single attack. If u have a family in the military or if u have lost some1 to this Islamic insurgency, I'm sure u wouldn't be saying this trash.

The rules of engagement ur talking about doesn't apply to only gun to gun situations. If u engage me with any weapon that can harm or kill me (machete, cutlass or molotov cocktail), I have a right to hit u with any weapon at my disposal (AK47, RPG grin) .... That is the rule of engagement.

Don't mind the fools. I guess soldiers are made of steel and they don't have families they want to go home to.
If you are holding a machete in front of anyone holding a superior weapon you are basically asking to be killed.

This action will teach any group/s who will come face-face to challenge our gallant NA. Imagin if those idioots had destroyed the COAS vehicle the same Nigerians will cry shame on the NA
Why have they not been able to teach bokoharam this same lesson for years now?

So they ATEMPTEDto assassinate the chief of army staff ?
But the video on this issue only show the COAS himself arguing with those protesters who were shouting allahu. Akbar and non of them ( in the video ) possed anything above sticks ..IIt would not have remove anything from Buratai if he simply direct his convoy to turn and take a different route as Zaria has very many short cuts to navigate to his destination
Truth is that our soldiers of today are Facebook soldiers they get scared at the least provocation they are mainly peopled by cowards no doubt !

Well, you can tell them to stop hiding in the desert and quit their hit and run cowardly tactics. Let them come out with all their so called weapons cache and block the road. I bet it wouldn't take more than an hour to teach them enough lessons they would remember even in the next life. smiley

There's is also no justification for anyone to prevent other citizens from carrying out their daily activities by blocking major roads and wielding machetes in their faces.
If they can do what they did to the COAS imagine what they would do to civilians like you?
What then is the end game? Allow them to do whatever they want and create a separate government within a government?

I thought I was the only one in previous threads condemning this act, majority of Nigerians are barbarians and urgently need re-orientation for this country to move forward.
there is no way one can justify this act... even the official military statement sounded guilty and can be used to jail all of them including buratai. This fact finding mission proves that point, they're trying to cover up

Now I know why Buhari made Dambazzu minister of interior rather than defence, it was a masterstroke. That ministry is critical to our internal security.

To me all this is subtle admission of guilt by the FG or is it possible for you to kill a terrorist and still send a delegation to his people for condolence.

what ever happened to dispersing that crowd with tear gases and rubber bullets..what ever happened to the nigerian army doing all they can not to fire a shot on citizen...This is the reason why nigeria is like this..and besides how many times or has the shiites ever attacked innocent citizens...

Our armies love to maltreat and kill innocent citizens...its their forte...

That Buratai of a thing should be cautioned and the officer that ordered the massacre along with the soldiers involved should be dismissed and charged for murder.
