Thanks for your view. Sometimes I read some comments here and I'm deeply perturbed. People read words but can't comprehend what they have read. Some have their mental cups filled to the brim with jargons that they can't manage a healthy convo. That aside, if this now-turned cankerworm called subsidy is systematically aborted genuinely market forces will determine pump price and let's not forget that NNPC's local production will be part of this market force. It's my prayer that people especially out "first to comment" crazy youths and their peers of same feather will positively apply their academic knowledge more often when publicly expressing their opinions.

When u guys quote d current price of crude et al, u indict this government d more, the cost of subsidy in 2012 was wayyyyyy higher than what it is tday. To me removing subsidy in 2012 n increasing pump price to 100naira was a genius plan. The new plan by dis govt wit pump prices to go up to #97 when d cost of crude is 35dols(meaning d price we pay for subsiding is way smaller than what we payed in 2012) is not even intellectually close to the previous plan. PMB's projected pump price is 97# @35dollars/bbl while GEJ's price was 100# @115dollars/bbl. Use ur church mind now do the maths which one saves us more money and makes more economic sense.

Most of the people who dominate the political section have difficulties analysing mathematical problems. Even Barcanista the great political analyst isn't that bright. They all exhibit one particular trait - lack of control over their emotions.
