BarcaBlood:Then at the bolded... we both agree he's flawed... and yes he benefited from a system... Arsene has worked hard for this current crop of players... and manager that steps in to manage now... benefited from the system... It's the truth... |

sebod:My take on this is... Pep should go to Arsenal to prove those doubters wrong! Let's look at the stats here... Pep has only coached Barca n Bayern... 2 great clubs... 1 literally don't have a competitor while the other hardly goes without winning at least a league title in 2 seasons... As much as I like Pep... He should go to clubs like Arsenal, even Man Utd don turn potato... ![]() I am not saying Pep isn't fantantic as a coach but I noticed coaches like him n mourinho hardly produced anything special after 3 seasons with a club... We need him to re-invent other ways to play with teams not the same way...like some people on Chelsea thread noted... There is much a style can work b4 being found out... I know Pep has more in the tank only if he decides to re-establish himself... As for Mourinho... He re-invented the "pack the bus" and people says he is world's best... He left Chelsea the defending champions - 16th after 15 games... ![]() Like someone pointed out... He suffers from inferiority complex n chooses to insult or blame everyone for his woes but himself... It's never Mourinho's fault but it's Pep's fault... |

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Constructive... and he's not an arsenal fan... there are reasonable fans of football afterall... True... I envy Barca... but do I want Guardiola coaching us...?! No!!! |

coded01:Funny. So you'd rather pep go manage a mid table club just to prove critics wrong; like for real? Which top manager does such ? Just cos of what people say, fvck their opinions. Mourinho has managed porto, Chelsea, inter Milan and real madrid; these r top clubs in their respective countries where they have d cash 2 spend and they're always favorites. This is like saying players who play at a single club for d majority of their careers aren't great cos they didn't play elsewhere Call him 3-season wonder but there r people who love adventure, 2 travel round d world doing what dey love, doesn't make dem cowards or insinuate that they're running 4rm competition. Not everybody has d Ferguson/wenger spirit in them |

iPopAlomo:Call it whatever u want. Fact is football is about winning cos that's what history remembers. What's d use of playing in d ucl for donkey years like arsene wenger without winning it? Its a perennial waste Better give honor to whom its due |

My take on this is... Pep should go to Arsenal to prove those doubters wrong!Coded you might as well say Messi should go play in the Epl to prove he can do it on a cold night in Stoke. ![]() |

iPopAlomo:Best players? You joking right? Pedro is already dead. If you doubt me, ask Chelsea fans they will attest to that fact. Yet, you can't fault him still cause he came at a very bad time. If you complain about Pedro, what would you say about Hidden Ikebe who happened to be the best player last season and has gone into exile thus far this season. Costa? His only problem is his attitude. Why didn't you say this last season when he was scoring for fun? Chai, una no go ever learn. |

bykebyke:Do not get it twisted bro... Let Pep go to Arsenal now n win the League in 5 years with the same set of mediocre players... Please do not compare Stoke to Arsenal... ![]() Every EPL fan knows that Messi is the greatest... When they say that Messi should come to EPL... They wish he plays for them... You don forget how Chelsea fans dey campaign for Messi some months ago... It's only a football novice would think Messi won't perform (possibly better) in the EPL... On the other hand! Do Leicester city have Messi? But yet they are on top the EPL table by Christmas... Anything is possible my bro... Maradona did it with Napoli... But I am not saying Messi should go to stoke to repeat that! ![]() Lastly I didn't say Pep isn't capable but should prove doubters wrong by working under similar condition Wenger is... |

To Fake Fans of Arsenal... Here's a quote from Mourinho... if you don't value what you have... you'll lose it... Regarding his failure at Chelsea, those close to Mourinho say he grew hugely frustrated with the club's transfer structure, feeling that made it impossible to succeed at Stamford Bridge. All these so called top managers... bar Heynckes, Klopp, Hiddink... Would struggle to manage Arsenal... none of them can strive under our transfer structure.... none!!! |

raumdeuter:I seem not to grasp why these guys think they are smart. All we hear every now and then is EPL this, EPL that. Imagine Costa that ran riot last season in terms of goals scored in EPL last season, who was he in La Liga? Fab? He had the highest assists with relative ease. Something that wasn't so in La Liga. I have said this for the umpteenth time that EPL is the perfect epitome of average. EPL defines mediocrity with aplomb. The same Gareth Bale flopping in La Liga, was he not the PFA winner in the season prior to his arrival? Smh for most EPL fans. I know some are very much objective with their views, while others are just... ![]() |
