Too bad for Selfridge... There might not be as much Nigerian patronisers anymore. Everybody will begin rationing the way they spend with all these policies CBN keeps coming up with.

In a way its good sha but it also affects some people who are trying to make a decent, honest living.

A social media user has shared a shocking discovery of the ostentatious and luxurious lifestyle of Nigerians in the UK.
Dr. Ayoade Alakija, an activist for social justice and change, shared her mind boggling, overwhelming, startling discovery on Twitter.
According to her, she visited Selfridges in the UK where she spotted a bottle of Champagne that goes for 94,000 pounds which amounts to N27.8 million Naira in Nigerian currency and she was shocked to know Nigerians were the major buyers of the champagne despite over 60 percent of the population being stricken by poverty.

I don't have problem if they are spending their money on anything. It only becomes an issue when it is fund looted from National Treasury

Their money, their champagne, the worked hard for it let them enjoy it in peace....

Who told you they worked hard for it? In Nigeria, you can count on your fingers the number of wealthy Nigerians who actually worked for their money. Most of the wealth are proceeds of corruption. The very few that work for their wealth are rarely ostentatious.

I think I am getting tired of hearing, seeing and reading topics like this. It is not enough to snap and scream on twitter. These thieves deserve to be stoned else what is the essence. Please, we Nigerians, are dumb people. Enough with the wailing, either we enjoy the looting or we partake from them. Hence, nothing can explain this nonchalant attitude of ours.

its their money anything they wanna do with it fine . If you vex, go make your own. Same way some people will enter amala joint buy amala 100 naira and meat 5,000 and beggars will come there and they wont say madam give him 100 naira food, Some of you will come here to abuse these folks, lemme ask you, when was the last time you helped anyone around you?
But the fact that they are most Nigerians shouldnt that tell you something?....A white might consider the option of investment where more people benefit and more money to him....there's much poverty back in Nigeria you know!
