The world population wasn't up to a billion before the flood, the world population clocked one billion for the first time after the industrial revolution. Besides there is no archeological evidence proving of a global flood.

Nope! Adam had long died becos from the time of Adam to the Flood is 1656 years and Adam lived and died at the age of 930 years(Gen 5:5)

yea that's right. Some kids weren't mentioned in the bible that's why the scholars made use of the numbers that were mentioned as an approximation.

Ok. I know humanists and atheists love arguments. You said the worlds population clocked 1billion during the industrial revolution. Now, the industrial revolution occurred about 300 yrs ago. That means the worlds population jumped 4rm 1billion to 6billion in less than 300yrs? Can't u see that the 6billion population before the Great Flood is a possibility?

First of all you open this thread so that others can have their say, so I will say this is more of a debate than argument.
Now back to the topic, the world has never in history experience the kinda population explosion we are experiencing now.
In the time past there are a lot of factors that keeps the human population in check.
1. Some of these include disease and lack of advance health care system.
2. War and infighting among tribal clans. Before the merger of local tribes to form nation and country, there was all war between local clans and of their core weapon is to cut of every male child of their rival, even some animals do practice that today.
3. Stricter sex rule. Before advent of the modern day freedom choice rule, women of old are bind to these strict rules that going against it means death or being punish.
Also if you are wondering how within two to three hundred years the human population could skyrocket, take Nigeria as a case study. Nigeria population according to the 1991 census is around 89 million but it above 170 million, just within a period of about 14 years. Now the population of Nigeria didn't decline at any point but once you remove the limiting factor watch population skyrocket except some measure is taken.
The ever increasing human population is some of the reasons some animals are going extinct because we expanding and encroaching into there natural habitat

Before the flood men and women were mating without control, women were even mating with fallen angels(gods), men lived longer years(robust immune system), there was population explosion which also came with violence, there was advance science and technological advancement introduced by the evil fallen angels etc. Jesus said before the departure of his body(The Church) at the rapture, the earth will look exactly like the earth during Noahs time.

And that gives you the leverage to spite them? It is obvious you do not comprehend the atheist's standpoint. Atheists do not hate or have any problem with god as there is no god and you cannot hate that which does not exist. Rather, atheists have issues with that violent, bloodthirsty, attention seeking bigot that some people have created and forced into the mind of the populace. The atheists attack this false mythical creature and its creators in order to show people its fakeness and emancipate people from mental slavery.

Going by the fast rate of population growth in recent times, if this were to be so from the beginning then am afraid we would have clock over 100 billion by now.
Just do a quick research on when China cross the one billion mark and they over 2 billion today in less than 30 years and India is also growing like a wildfire.
Now if you can factor this into your maths you will observe that from the flood until now the world population would have gone above 10 trillion.
The only thing keeping population in check is some of the things I mention before. Besides if you are student of history you must come across them

u made a good explanation but I don't believe its only recently the worlds population exploded. It happened b4 the flood(remember nephilims were part of this population). God then reduced the life-span of man, disease and wars followed. Of a truth mankind would ve gotten to probably a trillion by now since the Great Flood but there ve been constant conspiracies against geometric progression of our population growth.
